With whales extinct and seals decimated, other animals have started to occupy the newly available niches. One new species that has done this is the gannetwhale. From a distance they resemble a large seal, about 14 feet long, bulky but surprisingly fast and agile swimmers. This is a evolved form of the seagulls.  The gannetwhale are a giant swimmer lives in arctic regions, in Europe to Antarctic, in migration epoch. Gannetwhales eat fish and others little animals like squid babies. The baby of gannetwhale are little in comparison of the size of the adult. Its  white and gray. Gannetwhale are compatible with others pinniped animals, like lea lion, walrus, elephant seal and penguins.

Updated by Fern and Jay on October 27, 2025 to prevent the animal causing non-English versions of ZT to crash, to remove unnecessary black lines from the purchase menu icon edges, to change the adult animal list image to an image of the animal instead of an icon, to add a separate animal list image for the young animal, to prevent the animal from disappearing when sometimes rotating the zoo, to fix grammar and spelling in the animal info and tooltip, to have the preferred object tooltip appear for the female and young, to have the female behave like the male since it uses the same graphics, to have the female and young want the same type of exhibit as the male, to have the animal like itself and user made penguins, to have the animal use animations that are actually in the ztd for times when it was not, to prevent the young sometimes switching to penguin animations, to allow tranquilizer darts to work in some situations where they were not, to prevent the animal from standing on water in some situations, to prevent the young from moving as fast as adults in some situations, and to remove unnecessary files and configuration lines.
