  2. Working hard on the backstage props pack and have finished several already. It's actually enjoyable because I don't have to worry about animating anything. I haven't shared everything here so I'll leave some for surprises on release. One thing I wanted to do though was make these idle stacked animal crates so you can stage an area that looks like it's where they prep these crates, but I didn't want to use the sprites from the game because I wanted the shadows to look right when they're stacked. So I modeled one: Here it is rendered: Close enough I think lol. Happy to hear suggestions for backstage props you'd like to see. These are fun to make.

  3. I thought my guests really, really loved this one Swim Shack experience. I then bouy fenced to stop them climbing up the beach instead of exiting thru the shack. I remembered my beautiful yellow & green themed zoo years ago where guests milled around rather exiting the water show area. So I took down a couple squares of floating fence next to the shack. I don't if they were very pruned or very tired but I counted 15 dashing across the sand and taking the exit. Hope they got the right clothes.

  4. Hello all! Sorry I haven't been as active as I was on here. I was going through a heart monitor study for SVT (arrythmia) and I also had some other personal life things going on outside of ZT1. I am going to put the new bird zoo on the back burner for now (it's not cancelled!) and hold off on making more zoos until Hawkeye's Australian bird pack is released (super excited about this one). I have completed two zoos recently, one being the Surf 'N' Turf scenario (this one was fun to build!) and one that is themed off of the Pacific Northwest using the Marine Mania 'Islands' map. I'm also planning on making an African and Australian themed zoo in the future using a majority of my African and Australian savannah animals. Even though I already made a smaller African savannah zoo before, I really want to try out the 'Ancient Land's' zoo map and build the ultimate African/Australian hybrid zoo. I feel like my zoo building skills are starting to improve. I've been watching The Checkered Cheetah's/Thunder 55's videos on YouTube to get inspiration and I felt like I've gotten the hang of building amazing yet efficient zoos. 😊❤️

  5. I'm really sorry to hear about your SVT (arrythmia) It's good that you did the heart monitor study. Please take good care of yourself! We look forward to seeing your zoos when you're up to building. However, health comes first.

  6. Almost 20 years after, those screenshots still haunt me. It is all a referent in zoo building and I come back to this every once in a while seeking for inspiration! Hope some day I get this great

  7. I surely can't remember how those exhibits were built, too long ago, but I'm sure Fern is right about the method. I have never used the hack that allows you to put any animals together but some builders do.

  8. My guess is she used the invisible fence as well. Or maybe not. ZTUF used to host contests and tutorials about combining two animals in one exhibit. You will not get 100% suitability but you can if you work at it get both animals in the "green" The bongo and okapi are both rainforest animals. So you start with that and then add and subtract things. There are suitability guides for the animals over at DD. Jan is a master builder who has won many contests and been club leader as well. So you can learn a lot from just looking at her screens.
