(Professor Emeritus)Professor Paul Posted September 21, 2014 Author Posted September 21, 2014 And he wasn't keen on having hippos & seals in the lake, or gorillas on the island.
(Professor Emeritus)Professor Paul Posted September 21, 2014 Author Posted September 21, 2014 We also replaced the foxhounds in the kennels with something more more to our taste. Ah the children of the night;hear the music that they make!
caddienoah Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I really like what you have done to the old family homestead!
Firehawke Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Love all of the historical stuff and the changes that are happening!
(Professor Emeritus)Professor Paul Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 We still haven't made enough islands on the lake for all the apes & monkeys, so they are still in their old victorian cages for now. We've also rebuilt some of the barns for elephants & rhinos
(Professor Emeritus)Professor Paul Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 Unfortunately the zoo file got corrupted and decided to delete all the animals & staff (having worked very well) and wouldnt let me replace them.It seemed the exit I put in made the file decide everything was outside the zoo! Ive saved the zoo though & just need to do a little repair work
caddienoah Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I'm sorry to hear that...I too was enjoying your narrative...hope someday you can continue to tell us about the old family homestead...
(Professor Emeritus)Professor Paul Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 It's all been sorted out; I deleted the extra entrance & replaced the deleted animals!
(Professor Emeritus)Professor Paul Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 I thought you might like to see what lies on the other side of that troublesome little gate. Well, it's now been repaired (call it a security malfunction) and you can now make your way through the miles of perimeter fences & past the motion sensors. The best way, I find, to contain a t rex is to use water. And being a scot, what better than to have some fine specimens of Nessiteras rhombopteryx; or Nessie to you, in that water!
(Professor Emeritus)Professor Paul Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 Of course, I can't resist the Hagenbeck touches;Allosaurs & iguanodons side by side
