It's a dirty but beatiful area. Love all the orange! What is the pyramid shaped building with the tunnel-like entrance below left?

Cricket

Which trash cans are you using?

I see 2 of the new Indian Vase trashcans. I tested these in-game before I released them and they worked fine. I even checked to make sure the maintenance staff emptied them. Hope there isn't a glitch with them :/ Has anyone else had problems with them?

I am not good at combining individual files so my zoo takes a long time to load so while I am waiting...

Kreek that is RDFT's "Recent Extinct Animals Hall".

Fern & Cricket: I have noticed the trash guys seem reluctant to empty those vase trash cans. It almost seems that it needs to overflow onto groundbefore emptying.

I hired 3 more sweep & trash only maintenance people and plopped them into the food area and they cleaned and emptied trash cans. I picked up a couple wandering trash & sweep guysfrom the rear of the zoo and plopped them onto the paths. The trash was scattered least 25 sq beyond the food area along the paths. --That includes to the gate, into to the desert area, and the rain forest reptile, so miserably past the beautiful cat, peacocks, and hornbills.

After the clean up I fired 2 of the "older" sweep & trash guys.

One of the "older" sweep &trash guys was dutifully emptying vase trash cans in another area. These cans get emptied regularly.

Notice right behind the guest in front of Wild Pizza is a piece of trash. I have put trash "vases" right beside that sq but a guest always drops trash in that square.

That piece of trash may be why this area is clean and the trash can vases are emptied; it is the or a cue to empty trash?

Marine specialists are trapped by rocks and tanks so they do not wander off. Each specialist is responsible for 2-3 tank exhibits and I usually have 2 to 5 specialists trapped together surrounded by the tanks so they can cover for each other if an animal falls ills or many offspring are increasing the food needs. I wanted to put a lounge in for the employees among the tanks but I could not work it out. That is a goal for my next zoo.

BTW a marine themed scenery lounge would be a great addition and it would be cool if it could be "invisible" to them so we have the illusion they are going in and out of the lounge as they travel between their assigned exhibits!

Where possible I trap zookeepers among ground exhibits, too. However I had to fire one who neglected an ill Mt Zebra so much it was taken away. Grr.

More screenshots to come!
