Arystina Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 None of the cats in the recently released Kitties pack seem to have sound. Is this intentional or am I somehow missing a file? Otherwise, nice models! I love the new lynxes.

Is this intentional or am I somehow missing a file? Otherwise, nice models! I love the new lynxes. Lynxes use sounds of Borsato´s Spanish lynx. Some kitties only make sounds as young, because I had problems finding good sounds for them (and they don´t sound like normal domestic kitties), so I gave up and made them without sounds. I have even less time than I anticipated, so here are just some prairie good boys. Meant as a small active animals to compliment exhibits of other ones. Except of white-tailed prairie dog - I planned to make it compatible with Gunnison sage grouse, but I wasn´t able to use the model, for some reason it cannot be rotated. And Mexican prairie dog is compatible with my burrowing owl, which I think I haven´t released yet. Animals: Black-tailed prairie dog, Gunnison´s prairie dog, Mexican prairie dog, Utah prairie dog, White-tailed prairie dog Compatibility: Black-tailed prairie dog - ingame American bison, and all animals compatible with it Gunnison´s prairie dog - my Bolson tortoise, Shasta ground sloth and many (mostly unreleased) animals compatible with them Utah prairie dog - my Mustang Enjoy! *** files removed 2025.12.25 screenshot of files removed: 2
Luz21 Posted September 10, 2025 Posted September 10, 2025 Prairie dogs oh yeah I was expecting more rodents and small mammals but can you do more deep sea and oceanic fish because I have some friends that are deep sea experts and marine biologists on deep sea and oceanic creatures
Hawkkeye666 Posted September 15, 2025 Author Posted September 15, 2025 Gambian mongoose. Some tweeks are needed (prolonging mouth and tail, changing proportions so legs are smaller, maybe lowering belly, making neck stripe darker and more pronounced, and of course loading black texture underneath so the white colour isn´t visible on the tail), but I think it looks quite nice. Body stripes won´t be visible ingame, texture isn´t so sharp on such small animal.

Nice addition for zoos! Decades ago, in Madrid, I went to a zoo where prairie dogs were into an exhibit like a dry pond with a low fence Nothing related to this, but prairie dogs are wild reservoirs of the plague 🦠🦠

They run wild and I am quite interested whether they had any accidents with ungulates breaking their legs in holes, because they can be seen at least in gemsbok, markhor, donkey, and camel enclosures. There´s always something insidious with those little buggers. They´re suspicious even among themselves. Anyway,
Hawkkeye666 Posted September 26, 2025 Author Posted September 26, 2025 A little side project here, after I read some papers on lion haplogroups. And Gambian mongoose as a bonus. Animals: West African Lion, Ethiopian Lion, Katanga Lion Gambian Mongoose Compatibility: Gambian mongoose, West African lion. Yep. That can (rarely) work. https://www.facebook.com/zoochleby/videos/1145870766427364/ Would you be interested in me making a mongooses (probably slender mongooses) to be compatible with other lion subspecies? Enjoy! *** files removed 2025.12.25 screenshot of files removed: 2
VNDragonV2 Posted September 29, 2025 Posted September 29, 2025 The mongooses still seem pretty defensive in the video so they don't seem that at ease with having the lion there. I wonder what the actual set up of that enclosure is like?
