The main reason I avoid doing large communal aquariums like those in real life, is the fact that animals are really messy in Zoo Tycoon. While you can make them fit in a realistic tank they will keep the water dirty. You put 10 small fish and bang you tank is dirty to the point of the filter being useless. Since many of your animals are small/medium fish kept in tanks with many individuals/species, I suggest the following config on the UCA file:

cDirtyIncrement = 1
cDirtyThreshold = 100

From my understanding this is how much the animal poop. Will this make the animal broken balance wise? Sure,  but like which aquarium in real life make a 20m (60 ft) long tank with only 6 barracuda because nothing else fits in? Or the tank needing absurd amounts of cleaning for 6 barracuda?

NOTE: Never tested messing with these values, so I don't know if it works.

That´s good idea (one of my aquarium will be Indo-Pacific, with around 40 species of fish, sharks, rays, sea turtles, cephalopods, etc.).

But... I haven´t had any such problems while testing. I always use your perfect filter, and it is... Perfect.

No poop remains unfiltered by it.

Mjmannella wants mallard, but he has no compatibility recomendations for it. So I took it into my own hands.

How many birbs can you recognize?

Hawkkeye´s European marsh. Idea was to make an exhibit with large lake, with many waterbirds sharing the same habitat. They like a lot of foliage (water, decidious, coniferous, grassland), so you can build your bird pond to your liking.

+ some bonus European birds.

Animals:

marshland.jpg.c71e939d40edd145b2576cf715c92061.jpg

Eurasian Hoopoe, Corn Crake, Great Bustard, Ayelsbury Duck, Great Cormorant, Red Grouse

Mute Swan, Greylag Goose, Northern Pintail, Red-Crested Pochard, Mallard

Common Shelduck, Red-Breasted Goose, Grey Heron, White Stork, Great Bittern, Eurasian Curlew, Eurasian Spoonbill, Black Stork

Compatibility guide:

Eurasian Hoopoe, Corn Crake, Great Bustard - my Common Pheasant

Black Stork - Taz´s Roe Deer

Ayelsbury Duck, Great Cormorant, Mute Swan, Greylag Goose, Northern Pintail, Red-Crested Pochard, Mallard, Common Shelduck, Red-Breasted Goose, Grey Heron, White Stork, Great Bittern, Eurasian Curlew, Eurasian Spoonbill

Enjoy!

EDIT 30.08.202: NEW VERSION IS ADDED, WITH SMALLER MODELS FOR EURASIAN HOOPOE AND CORN CRAKE.
