The only 'bug' I have to report right now is that the baby centrosaurus slide around when they're sleeping. I think it's kind of cute but thought I would mention it anyway.

That´s something I cannot correct. It´s problem of the base animal I used, ingame dinosaurs do it sometimes too.

It is most likely a rotation problem so might be possibly fixed.

If you tell me how I´ll fix it - I know nothing about rotation.

New release - a little aquarium I´ve had on the disc for some time. Contains this:

Animals:

florida.jpg.c32dcae73a9db39208fc2bcd2c81f4b1.jpg

Bonefish, Sheepshead, Lookdown, Lesser Devil Ray, Bonnethead.

All are compatible with ingame Manatee.

Enjoy!

Jay usually checks with his programs and leaves me to do ingame testing so I also asked him this: Would rotations also explain why a number of his animals appear to be not where the cursor is? I have noticed this a bit with some of his animals. Or is that related to the size of canvas he uses? perhaps both need looking at.

I do rotations/positioning for buildings and scenery in Zoot.

From Jay: I do not know what is meant by sliding around when they're sleeping. I looked at all frames of all 5 views of the young centrosaurus animations and the main part of the body stays in the same place in all frames. Maybe they are saying that ZT is using the sleep animation sometimes instead of of the walk animation. Sometimes that is a configuration problem, but that is difficult to find. And yes, sometimes ZT's animals do that as well.

As for the images not being where the cursor is... yes, that concerns positions. But most animal designers do not worry about that because of how much time is needed to adjust all frames of all views of all animations. Yes, canvas size can affect that, since APE guesses at positioning based on the canvas size. But adjusting positions is the same process no matter what the canvas size.

It is the 2nd thing, animals use sleep (and sometimes other animations as well, if I am not mistaken) for walk. I cannot find anything wrong with behaviour and ingame animals do that sometimes as well, so I concluded that it´s ingame problem. But I could miss something.

Some my animals have rotations problems (ratites and cattle), when some of their animations are a little off center. But I do not think it´s worth correcting.

I like them, they have a few good seasons. But I must admit, I am much more a Futurama fan:)

Especially Zoidberg.

At least for some time, the last raptor pack. And a little surprise for people who don´t know how to merge .ztds together; I use merged .ztds in my update folder, and I plan to release them every time I release all animals merged in it. So on my google drive in folder Packs, you can find .ztd named hwbirdsofprey.ztd, and in it, you can find all my raptors merged together. So with this .ztd in your updates folder, you can delete packs: African raptors, American raptors, American scavengers, European raptors, Himalayan scavengers, Indian Scavengers, lost raptors, owls, sea eagles. Not Antarctic scavengers! They are not raptors, so they will be released in separate merged .ztd.

Pay attention to Slender-Billed Vulture - it is Ulquiorra´s Indian Vulture I modified, made it more slender, made the beak longer, and used the darkest Indian Vulture´s texture.

So let me know if you think it´s passable as a new animal.

Lost raptors:

Animals:

197214858_lostraptors.jpg.45391e3d01d0ba3ad0aa4b696bc78394.jpg

Bat Hawk, Crested Honey Buzzard, Crested Serpent Eagle, Desert Owl, Lanner Falcon, Peregrine Falcon,

Cape Vulture, Himalayan Vulture, Slender-Billed Vulture

Compatibility:

Bat Hawk, Crested Honey Buzzard, Crested Serpent Eagle

Lanner Falcon - my Tawny Eagle and White-Backed Vulture

Peregrine Falcon - my Steppe Eagle

Cape Vulture - my Mountain Zebra and Southern Bald Ibis

Himalayan Vulture - my Bearded Vulture, Bonnelli´s Eagle, Golden Eagle, Cinereous Vulture, Common Raven,

Slender-Billed Vulture - my Indian Vulture, White-Rumped Vulture, Red-Headed Vulture, Egyptian Vulture, Black Kite, Short-Toed Snake Eagle

Enjoy!
