(Trustee)ZooGrammy Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 It is a wonderful barn. It looks very realistic. I like the open door on it and that you can see inside.
pukkie Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 True I am all with ZooGrammy but for one point wich is the roof I sure wish to see straw on that if it is possible ofcourse.

Straw on the roof? Most of our old barns/stables have tin roofs. Sorry Pukkie. LOL :post-59-1192173612:
nana_nytowl Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Hi TP, That's awesome!! :cheer-girls-group-3x2-green: Much better than any of the current in-game shelters. And Pukkie, I've never heard of straw on the roof either. Or do you mean the barn should HAVE a straw roof? Never seen that here in the states though. :post-59-1192173612: :post-6-1170309992:
pukkie Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Here in Holland that is very common. Ah well you can't have it all. Not that it matters too for the building is just great Toodlepops. Nice job! I do hope it shelters at leat 10 animals
Yellowrose Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Hey Toodles where did you get the doors you used?? I could find a few uses for a door that size as I don't have many large doors that could be as versitile as that one. Pukkie - we don't have thatched roof barns here either but I may be able to come up with something for you after I get ZA back in shape when the host is finished.

Chopped off the peaked tops and redid them.
(Trustee)genkicoll Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I love it, TP, but doesn't the open door make the footprint larger than it has to be? ie. one extra tile that's "wasted"?
Marlizdu Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I don't know anything about designing but I love the look of the open door. It makes it look more realistic. If it sets off the footprint a little, I wouldn't really care. :post-6-1170309992:
