Show Stand Distance and Combined Exhibits

Hey, yall! Quick question about the stands for the aquatic shows. How far away can they be from the tank for customers to see them? I never could figure that out, haha, even all these years later (I rarely do shows because of this). 

 

Also, water/land mixed exhibits. I try them, but my polar bears still escape over the tank walls. How on this planet do I get them to work right?

The stands must be one tile away from the show tank in order to work, enough room for a single line of path.

For water and land exhibits, surrounding the entire exhibit with non walkable flowerbeds keeps the animals from escaping, gives them some space between themselves and guests which makes them feel less crowded, and adds to guest happiness as well.

You may want to check out the other tutorials too, the one for trapping staff is very helpful.
