(Admin)Cricket Posted July 7, 2025 Posted July 7, 2025 For those that do not know, Jay is one of our ZT1 specialists. He has spent many years learning the ins and outs of ZT1. He and Fern run the Zoo Tycoon Community Download Directory and the Zoo Tycoon Designer Guild. Jay has started working on a new project for ZT1. It is a Menu Filter for the game. One of the categories will be "Fan Favorites". In order for this filter to work, each "fan favorite" user-made .ztd file will need to be edited with just one line of code. Then when you are in your game and click on the "Fan Favorites" filter from the purchasing menu, you will see only those files that have been designated as a "fan favorite". We have a few threads floating around where we have asked for your favorite downloads, just for fun. We are asking again. This time, it will be for something that could prove to be quite useful to enhance our game play. Please list those "fan favorite" user-made downloads that you would like to see displayed in this purchasing menu filter. We will need the specific .ztd file name if you can provide it. If not, specify the link and I'll find the .ztd file name. You will need to be more specific than just "anything made by ...". Here's an additional note from Jay: It can say that their favorites may include .ztd file names from other sites as well as from Zoo Tek Phoenix. So I believe that includes Zoo Tek Phoenix (which also includes JBL), ZA (which also includes Planetkitty, Zookapi, and ZTU), DG, DD (which also includes And1, JohnT, Quivaz, ZooEmpire, ZooKingdom, ZooTycoonPlus, ZTABC, ZTCenter, ZTforU, and ZTNL), ZTUF, ZKL (which also includes dj_pluffs), and Goosifer. If they can give the .ztd file name, then they do not have to say which site it is from or give a link to it. I just want to make sure they know they are not limited to files at Zoo Tek Phoenix, although I suspect most if not all will be ones at Zoo Tek Phoenix, either currently or in the future (such as when the ZA files are made available there). We basically need to identify the files where one line of code needs to be added to allow that file to show up on the filter. (Ha, how's that for a run-on sentence? lol) I guess it would be better to add only files that are not in my list.

Taz's stuff for sure and most of Borsato's work I'm forgetting a lot of them for sure, but these are the ones I can remember in a fast glance. Others are not available since ZA is gone or because some of you lend them to me 1
