(Trustee)ZooGrammy Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 ZA has a very nice emu and RSN made an Emu.
KTesch Posted March 1, 2007 Author Posted March 1, 2007 I have the Musk Ox, Red Panda Pack (both), Red River Hog, Sumatran Tiger, Sun Bear, Spectacled Bear, and Koala, and Freshwater Alligator and Wallaby from ZKL. I think that's it. I read on ZA that one of the Kangaroos I mentioned gets along with the Red from the game, but ZA says it'll be offline for a few days. I guess their server still has some bugs in it or something. Maybe it'll be back up later today. I don't have any buildings or Packs or anything. My computer is an HP with WindowsXP Home Edition and is five years old and out of warranty. I plan on getting a new Dell to go with my Monitor hopefully with Windows Vista as an OS. I forgot some things. The MM and DD signs from ZKL and the MM trashcan, U.S. Flag Rotation Fix from ZA and the U.S. Flag too, and the Woven Basket and Dig Setup from ZKL. Kim
IcePengwyn Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 As far as your first question - compatibly: Of the various Aussie animals I have downloaded, here's a few in the Roo group: The Rock Wallaby won't work with the others, & Western Grey might fuss due to foliage amount difference. You can always open them up in APE and change the stats for your own use. Or have someone do it for you. If you don';t have some of these critters pop me your email addy & I can send them to you. Rock Wallaby by Krimmsun 5 Savannah, 58 Sand, 30 Dirt, 2 Water 6 squares foliage, 6 squares rocks, 40 elevation, animal density =20 The following all take the same terrain 60 Savannah, 8 Sand, 30 dirt, 2 Fresh Water, no elevation Nailtail Wallaby by Devona & Michelle 4 squares foliage, 2 squares rocks, animal density = 20 Bennett Wallaby 5 Squares foliage, 5 squares rock animal density =11 Parma Wallaby by PicklePacker 4 squares foliage, 2 squares rocks, animal density = 10 Wallaroo by Devona & Michelle 4 squares foliage, 2 squares rocks, animal density = 20 Eastern Grey Kangaroo by Devona & Michelle 4 squares foliage, 2 squares rocks, animal density = 20 Western Grey Kanagaroo 20 squares foliage, 5 squares rocks, animal density = 20
KTesch Posted March 8, 2007 Author Posted March 8, 2007 IcePengwyn, Are all of these animals here in the Downloads section? ZA is down, and I thought most of them were there? I already have the Walleroo from ZKL after some problems, but got that fixed. I will pm you my e-mail, as I can't find a pm button here in the message posts deal and I don't think we are supposed to put our addresses in our posts. BTW-Thanks for all the help. Kim

IcePengwyn Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 In ZT each animal takes up a certain amount of space (squares). Some animals get very upset if the exhibit does not have enough space, while others are not bothered as much. Many zoos and guides are based on exhibits of 100 squares. It makes it easy to keep track of the required amount of terrain, foliage, rocks, etc. especially when making the exhibits highly suitable. But many animals are happy in smaller exhibits, while some need very large ones. In ZT1 each adult animal needs the same amount of squares. Most Cats need 35 squares, so an exhibit for an adult pair should be at least 70 squares. If you want more animals, you will need a bigger exhibit. But also be aware that some animals (like Leopards) don't like having more than 2 adults. There are charts & guides at various sites that show all this info. Wisco's Guide is a good one - though it needs a little correcting.
Guest pengwinluvr Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 I have Wisco's suitability guide if that is what you are referring to. example ex. size 10 x 10 animals 1 male and 1 female So is it safe to say that if I have double that in the exhibit, then I should double the size of the exhibit? And the ones that say 2 animals per sex are good only for that many also and I should add squares for each new animal if I want them to stay there? Am I understanding this right?
ageise02 Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 If I understood correctly what you meant then yes you got it right.
