Thank you all so much. Did you know it took me quite a while to realize that when elevating the landscape the paths turn into stairs automatically? Still, the elevations do give me a headache from time to time. Also happy to hear you like the color scheme, because I put some thought into that.

We're coming down from the plateau with Ibexes next to the stairs:

 

 

This is my attempt to create a Japanese area as well as an Amsterdam canal-like area with flamingo's in the canal. There's also a little dino area. But once I build it, I realized that dino's are not really my thing.

Looking fabulous, Kreek! Elevation can be tricky; I usually get everything done and then try to just level out the squares so that path will set. Still, sometimes I do and redo and redo. You sure have learned fast, you're building like you've been playing for years.

Thank you sooo much for the birthday wishes. I had not expected them, so they brought a big grin to my face. You're all so nice! Birthday presents included Zoo Tycoon 2 by the way. I've heard it's not as well liked as 1. But I'm sure going to give it a try. As soon as I'm done playing with ZT CC 1. Also thank you for the nice comments, they make me want to build more and not abandon ZT 1 at the moment! I will post more screenshots as soon as working days are over!
