pukkie Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 I love the wolfarea how you used the wolfpack is done very cleverly. The elevated path is just awesome!
Firehawke Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 It's looking more beautiful with every update!
Kreek Posted January 30, 2018 Author Posted January 30, 2018 Aw, thank you. Well, here I was working on the house of Hook, puting in the animals, puting in the planters. When I looked away for a second and the planters were empty! After a thorough investigation, hanging up camera's and interogating suspects, I finally found the culprit. This was back before there were people crowding her style. To prevent her from taking bites out of the guests I had to fortify her part of the cave. Yup, you heard it, The house of Hook dominates an entire cave. It's entrance only accessable through beanstalk forest on one side, or dragon lands on the other. Aside from Nessie, Moby Dick sought refuge here, as do a clan of Mermaids. Nemo's (The clownfish, not the captain) friends have occupied a large tank to entertain children near the entrance. I'm not quite satisfied with this area and I can't really figure out why not. I do like the overall cave effect. Hm.. it might need some more cavey bits like crystals for color and stalag-thingies. Going to put those in tomorrow!
(Trustee)ZooGrammy Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Well, I really like it. We have so many things for the game that you forget some of them and everyone one makes an exhibit area different. First, I like your playground area. I haven't done it like that. 2nd, I like the houses next to the tank. It gives such a unique look as well as having all the guest view on one side. 3rd. I like your ship area. I forgot about having that pile of barrels. It just looks good!
Kreek Posted January 31, 2018 Author Posted January 31, 2018 Thank you Pukkie! Zoogrammy, it's so good to hear what you like. It really encourages me to keep playing. I have never used those houses before and I love how the guests can walk underneath them. And here these just fit! The playground area was fun to build. I decided to go with Nessies color. And the barrels and other piles are objects I lOVE to use to enhance the scenery. Thanks for the elaborate reply!
Kreek Posted February 3, 2018 Author Posted February 3, 2018 I created the House of Hiccup. The cave's entrance on this side is well hidden. You'll have to cross a stream to get to it. Bagheera's ofspring prowl the upstream lands. Also, the path is guarded... Dragonlands Relaxing by the waterside... These dragons do like to sit and watch! Overview And ending with another curious dragon. Watching the wolfs. No guests are allowed in yet. They will get stuck here without a path back to the entrance. Or they will walk all over the zoo. So I'm keeping them out for now. So, what do you want to see next? The house of Snow? Or the house of Bo Peeb?
(Admin)Savannahjan Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 I love this Nessie Dragon land, so totally charming. The wooden plank walls look great in this setting. Such a nice zoo, Kreek.
Kreek Posted February 5, 2018 Author Posted February 5, 2018 Thank you Jan, I like the wooden planks too. The only downside to them is that they are not fences so they take up an entire square and you cannot build against them. Which leaves a lot of forced open space. Which is a pity, but other than that they were great to help create an indoor look.
