Here's my contest entry for the bug contest going on over at Feral!

Welcome to Bugs ‘r Us. We hope that you will enjoy seeing a number of bug eating mammals, all from the tropical rainforest!

First up, a stop at the Tamarin building, by way of the flower field that is home to a number of butterflies

Here, you will find: the golden headed lion tamarin, the golden lion tamarin, the emperor tamarin, the cotton top tamarin, and the pied tamarin

Across the way is our educational building, the Sniff ‘n Learn!

On the lower level, guests can watch the Northern and Southern Tamanduas

On the upper level, guests can learn all about the eating habits of insectivores and omnivores that include these buggy items in their diets

Next up is our small mandrill exhibit…

And the first piece of art featured in our zoo.

The next stop on our tour is the Lemur-Capuchin-Gibbon building

Not only does it feature a number of animals, but it also houses a number of guest amenities


It is also home to some more artwork

The artwork leads guests to where they can see the fine mix of animals located in this building. The animals included are: the white headed lemur, the mongoose lemur, the black striped capuchin, the blond capuchin, and the northern white cheeked gibbon.

The crowning jewel of Bugs ‘r Us is an area we simply call “Majestic”

This building shows off more artwork, provided by a number of members in the community.

It also shows off the winning design in our architecture contest.

Animals included in this area are: the orangutan, the chimpanzee, and the gorilla
