Im very particular about some stuff, and it took me awhile to figure out how to do that. ;)

Water terrain can also be used if flowerbeds or rocks are not desired or get in the way, but I like the flowerbeds myself, and there have been times when a guest has become stuck on open water terrain, so I only use it around primate exhibits because its the only way to keep the little buggers inside their exhibits. ;D

I slave zookeepers and maintenance workers to exhibits and tanks by locking them in.

They require at least 2 squares of walking space outside the gate in order to reset their scan, so I make a 3x3 indent, then use flowerbeds or rocks to lock them in.

This keeps them from wandering and they are always close enough to heal animals before they become very ill and infect other animals, and the fences are always repaired.

I do that with some keepers so they are trapped by invisible fence and rocks. Usually I assign 2-3 exhibits per keeper. i never thought of doing that with maintenance, too. Fence and tank pump specialist(s) kept to a grouping of exhibits while sweepers and trash are free to roam.

 

I will try that next zoo. Thank you for the info!

You can assign one zookeeper and one maintenance man to four exhibits trapped:

Not really how ZT works, but: improve visual inconsistencies.

Some icons have no corners, others have small corners, others have too large black borders (see Research tab where it's really inconsistent).

Also, fix the elephant toy so the elephant's shadow and shape looks consistent when it's using the toy. It's weird now.

 

Fix path finding, easier adjusting of slopes if it's only one tile.

 

Fix some mistakes in the official .AI-files, which haven't caused game crashes but which do contain a few errors.

 

Add more animal enrichment options.

 

Make guests less needy after shows.

 

Different way of handling downloads, but Blue Fang could never have expected their game to become so popular.

Add shows for land animals (this might be a tricky one, since animal shows are often targeted by animal organizations now. So something balanced, probably.)

Oh, my! Really challenging and acceptable would be dog agility shows which would probably require new graphics or adapting and adding to wolf graphics.

Always good to review this topic and get reminders of wishes and ways to tame/coordinate solutions.
