And I also took away every user-made .ztd out of updates/dllupdates folders one by one and ran game after it, bug occurs every time. So I think there is no problem with userr-made .ztds.

Why have you got user made files in updates? They should not be put anywhere but dlupdates or a hacks or maps folder if you have made them. And are you sure you have not accidentally deleted a needed file from there.

Have you made any changes to the ini file? It might pay to check that or get that checked.

I haven´t deleted a needed file from there - bug persists after reinstalling the game. Also, I haven´t changed anything in any .ini.

Since then, I moved downloadable content to dllupdates.

You may not have but the game itself does.

I think that reinstalling the game would change the .ini back to originalm, if anything was changed.

Depends on whether you left it in when you reinstalled. Some people save it outside and add it back after a new install so they don't have to do the tutorials again.

I wanted to correct an issue, so I reinstalled it properly.

I had some issues when I installed ZT1 in a new PC (the one I'm using now)... I don't know which OS are you using, but I found this once:

I added some animals (by mistake with the ZT download tool) that I later wanted to get rid of. I erased it from the root directory but they kept appearing there. I could not figure out the reason until, one day, I was looking for screenshots and noticed that, for some reason I don't understand at all but must be too obvious for my mortal reasoning, the game had two root directories... Yes! Just how you read it! I don't know what triggered, but the update I was trying to delete was still there because the "second root directory" had it yet. This second folder was also the place where saved games and screenshots were sent to when saved. I had to change them manually... The UCAs were saved in that mysterious folder. Once I found them, I just deleted the files and everything got back to normality... I honestly can't remember how I fixed it at all. Nowadays, that second folder keeps lurking there with some new bugs awaiting, but I have no issues since then ?? It just... Exists...

Maybe your PC also made a second folder that is still loaded whenever you uninstall and install again that keeps the files triggering that error ??

Thanks for the tip, I checked both my discs, and they are only two Zoo Tycoon folders, one main, one in programs with uninstall and readme stuff:

So I don´t think that would be the problem.

This is one of those insomnia nights for me... I just read this topic from the beginning again and I noticed several downloads that I missed or that I thought I got but just forgot because I didn't back in the day, like Megalania, Jp Aquarium or beaked whales, but I noticed something...

Beaver dam is not made, I am thinking about making one from ZT2 beaver dam (as Markbl20 wrote). But I have no experience with making objects. I do not even know yet if I want it to be a toy, shelter, or rock that doesn´t count into rock pref (as jungle rock ingame).

I made a working shelter for my cats, so I might try to craft a dam shelter if you are still interested on this ?? What do you think?
