I chose the Dhole and Long-horned Bison in a new "test" zoo. They're very happy and content and I haven't noticed anything unusual with them so far! I used the 'purchasing young' hack to fulfill the Dholes' 'more animals of the same kind' requirement. My foliage in both habitats is set to hidden.
Next will probably be your Sichuan Takin (I LOVE ungulates) and one of your dinosaurs.

Nice zoo. I cannot make them myself that pretty when I play. 

All my Mongolian dinosaurs are compatible together, also all my three takins with other ungulates/monke/birds, if you will want mixed species exhibit.

Any plans to make more giraffes? I like the default ZT1 ones, but I would love to see more varied subspecies.

I approve of this idea. We could use a masai giraffe.

Nope, at least not now. Too many animals to finish to start new projects.

Some less aesthetically-pleasing exhibits since this is just a 'test' zoo file..... and because I ran out of room lmfao. You know that very first map that shows up when you click freeform? the small dinosaur digs one? yeah that one. I mainly use that one for testing when I download new buildings. It's not so great for building habitats 😅

anyway here's the Sichuan Takins and the Golden Pheasants. Very happy together with pretty much identical requirements and the takins gave birth right before I closed out.

In the second shot you'll see the Sichuan Takins with some Mainland Serows. The serows had some more habitat requirements but were very far in the green in terms of happiness and suitability, and they seem to enjoy the takins company.

I haven't encountered anything strange, no crashing, no weird animations, etc. I actually found it amusing that your Sichuan Takins look more golden than the Golden Takins themselves.

Golden takin is an old animal, from the second part of my ungulates. I wasn´t able to change textures back then, just used default one. I put it on the list of animals to remade in the future, I checked model I made it from, and there is a texture that is more goldeny that this one.

 

Just put serows into golden takin´s exhibit, and they will be completelly happy. Borsato´s Chinese pangolin and my Himalayan monal are suitable with Sichuan takin 100 per cent. But it is good to know that you can reasonably mix these animals.

I want to finish animals I started. There´s a buttload of them.

After that, I´ll have a small pause and then, probably make some more.

 

But you can still tell me what you want, there´s I think solid chance that I started to make it at some point.

Have you made a Shrek yet? We could all use more Shrek.
