Thanks for your comments! I'm glad you like it ❤️❤️ A few notes about Fukkatsu Woods (before the summary): 1. As I wrote earlier, a friend of mine who knows about Japan better than I do, aided me with the zoo design. So, I'm aware that some elements are Chinese instead. To me, those are just visual additions. 2. The inspiration for Fukkatsu Woods is mainly the Masayoshi Ohira Park from Mexico City. I know, a Japanese park not from actual Japan sounds weird, but Japan Ambassy took part of its design as well... Here are some pictures: Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler 3. Excluded animals were: -> Ghirin's Japanese Wolf & Finless Porpoise -> PlanetKitty's Iriomote Cat I was also tempted to add BlueFang's Giant Squid & Khaydar's Goblin Shark, but they need deep tanks. To me, it would break the relaxing aura of the park. 4. And, the mandatory question: The AoE Todai-ji temple found near the Sika deer exhibit is not the scenery version created by RDingFT. It's an actual building I made, designed as a gift shop. I'm still working on it and I expect eventually releasing it here at Tek, where it will be at your whole disposition for you to give it a try! 1

(Designer)Zarawatto Posted August 22, 2022 Author Posted August 22, 2022 Well... We're here again... I'm sorry! I started Island Zoo, but the bunch of ideas for Mexican Pack weren't allowing me the right building... I'll start my mexican theme zoo.. But (as usual from me) I have to point a few things before: -> I'm sharing with you the workbench I'm using. I made a new map based on a cenote! My next themed park is gonna be built on it: Spoiler Meet the Eeke-Ku-Yooko (mayan for "dancing star") cenote. A place lost in Yucatan rainforest where guests used to gather for a swim and a tasty meal, when suddenly a jaguar came out from the jungle in the evening of October 31st, between Halloween & Día De Los Muertos. All customers naturally fled from the park and it's said that the beast, named by local people "Yum Kaax" after mayan woods god, still roams around there. Your first task is find and place Yum Kaax in a right place where it can be safe, so guests will go back to the cenote. Then, turn the whole place in a natural area where guests may learn about wildlife! Good luck! No extra items needed. For ZTCC version. Spoiler I've just submitted it to ZooTek, expecting to be released soon! Also available at my signature! -> My previously narrated zoos I made (Thawed Out Park & Fukkatsu Woods) focused most on animal facts & wildlife knowledge. It's not bad, but I feel this one more personal because I made some animals & foliage, so it will be different in that. Also, I hope you don't mind if I start a secondary thread where I'll post this zoo in a spanish version. I have some spanish-only speaking friends who are very interested about this tale! I'll start my building works soon! Stay tuned if you want the workbench! Have a nice day ?? 3
(Designer)Zarawatto Posted August 22, 2022 Author Posted August 22, 2022 Chapter One: Lord of the Woods Four white smooth walls surround the desk that lies in the center of the room. Only the lullaby of the mini-split device is heard, when at nine o'clock in the morning the door opens. A lady wearing a fresh and light purple dress, garnished with flower and birds needleworks walks in. She holds a cup of coffee in her right hand, while the left one is diving in a bunch of papers. The quiet serenity breaks when she takes her seat in front of the computer, smashes the papers on the desk and then starts making a "peek-peek" sound as she pushes the characters on the keyboard. At the e-mail inbox, there are lots of messages that she may never read, but one steals all of her attention. The title is "Aid Request". The same of almost 15 from that day, but the main thing around it is who sends it. Greetings! We expect you to have a nice day! This is Canek Cauich, manager of the ecotouristic area Eeke-Ku-Yooko ("Dancing Star") Cenote. By this mean, we ask for the support from Animals Rehabilitation Center (ARC) because of the following: Past October 31st, during our Halloween-Día De Los Muertos fest, we had an incident. In the proximity of our main attracion spot, which had an attendance of around 1,200 customers at the time, a wild jaguar came out from the rainforest. The whole park was evacuated. Soon, the animal left, but there were several sights pointing that it still roamed near the place. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Since then, the park is fully closed. Local people were worried, most because they mantain themselves from tourism activity. So, we called authorities in order to catch the animal, who is now called "Yum Kaax" after mayan Lord of the Woods. As it is possible that the jaguar still roams if set free, we got permission to keep it at our natural conservation area, but we are now concerned about its welfare. It is obvious that the cage made by local authorities is not enough for Yum Kaax's basic requirements. Spoiler We are aware about the previous works of ARC. If we're counting on your support, Yum Kaax and the people will be both grateful! We'll be awaiting for your response. Thanks for your time and attention. With a hand on her forehead and the eyes wide open like two cenotes, the woman finished reading the mail. She blinked twice, calmly drank a sip of already cold coffee and then started writting an answer. The text cursor was tinkling after a final point that closed the text and sentenced phrases with words like "non-viable" or "risky". Her finger was menacingly landing in the "Send" button, when a noisy sequence of hits striked the door from the outside. - Headmistress! We had an urgent call! A pack of wild birds is going to be confiscated from a black market house! We need your signature in order to relocate them! The mini-split lullaby toke its main role again during a couple of eyeblinks, then the lady shouted from her throne. - Bring them here! Answer was taking too long. The fellow who limited itself about getting in was twisting its eyes and whispering for sure. - Oh my... Are you serious? Our birdcage is not working yet. - It's just for three or four days. Just do it! Hurry! Give me five minutes 'til I reach there! - What are you planning now, boss? Steps started walking far. She erased al the done e-mail and changed it for a short new one. Later that day, Canek was reading the next: My respectable Sir Canek Cauich: I want you to be having an excelent day. This is Headmistress from ARC headquarters. I'm very interested about Yum Kaax's story. I'll take a plane to Yucatán tomorrow in the morning, so I may meet it personally and also your whole conservation area as well. I have a work proposal for you that I want to discuss face to face with you and your team. I'll just state from now that it will be a total waste if you don't take it: If we work together from now on, your park will turn into a whole place for the rehabilitation of wildlife and rescued animals. I expect that we may share ideas and talk about details tomorrow with a good portion of that what is produced at your inn. Until then, good bye from: Biologist Coyolxauhqui Aduna-Pacheco, ARC Headmistress. Spoiler -> Canek Cauich & Coyolxauhqui Aduna-Pacheco names are just fictional. 3
(Designer)Zarawatto Posted August 27, 2022 Author Posted August 27, 2022 Chapter Two: Aid Request Four dun rough walls surround a room with a table in a corner and a warm bed in the other. Pointing to the west, a window lets the sun coming in. A whole orchestra from a gale lives the enviroment up, when around at three and a half in the afternoon, the wooden door suddenly opens. It whips agaist the adjacent wall. A man embbeded in a heavy thick leather jacket stands there. He shakes himself before the first steps in, leaving a cloud of frosty dust behind. He holds a massive bottle full of boiling tea. Next to a portable computer, the container will find rest in order to him to strip away a pair of gloves and a hat. Both clothes have a flour-like white film. After a couple of hours, when the bottle is now half-full and tea is almost frozen, he has token a shower and is now ready to take a look at his device. It's wednesday. He always look for bussiness mails in wednesday. On the top of a bunch of offers, a mail distinguishes by its title: Aid Request. He usually ignores this kind of messages, but today is the first one, so he'll lend a chance. In it, he may read more than a simple request: My respecable Chairman Abbott: This is Biologist Coyolxauhqui Aduna-Pacheco, former Animal Rehabilitation Center (ARC) Headmistress from Mexico. During the time I worked for ARC, I focused my efforts in the development of a natural conservation park for relocation of animals that weren't able to set free again. Working together with the manager of Eeke-Ku-Yooko ("Dancing Star") Cenote Natural Area, Engineer Canek Cauich and his whole team, we now drive a Zoo in Yucatan, where customers may approach wildlife and learn about its conservation. Woefully, since I'm no more ARC's leader, government has minimized funds for our park. We're worried about what authorities would do if they expropiate the zoo. Previously, they tried to "aid" animals in our park, unsuccessfully. Because of all of this, I'm taking the audacity of asking for your support, not with economic benefit for me or my team, but just for all the animals we've rescued in the last years. We're aware of your astonishing booming projects and, if you're interested in it, we may discuss about yielding the whole zoo to your foundation. At the very beginning of our work, we rescued a lost jaguar near the Cenote Hotspot. Nowadays, guests love it and is now a local symbol. It's named "Yum Kaax". When I started working with Engineer Cauich, authorities lend us the animal in these poor conditions: Spoiler Years have passed since then and, today, if you come to our park, Yum Kaax's conditions are pretty different: Spoiler Spoiler And this is just a piece of all our effort. If you'd like to visit and honor us with your presence, you may find us like: Enviromental Management Unit (EMU) - Nahui Ollin BioPark a place for meeting alongside Nature Confirm the date of your visit and we'll welcome you with our arms wide open at our headquarters! Then, I'll guide and explain you how our park grew to its actual reaching. Spoiler Until your forthcoming arrival, greetings from Biologist Coyolxauhqui Aduna-Pacheco, EMU - Nahui Ollin BioPark's Headmistress Luca Abbott's blue eyes were jumping from their hollows, throwing the eyebrows so far that almost merged with the hair at his nape. Immediately, he toke his cellphone, pinched the screen quickly and then the device went to his ear. On the other side of the line, a loudy trumpet, like the sound of an elephant was interrumped by a voice. - Chairman Abbott! You just left! Is everything alright? - Said the man, surprised. - Ganesh! When is Dr. Kerr coming back from London? - Abbott asked without giving attention. Ganesh doubted a couple of seconds. Trumpets tooted again. - She's comming in two days - Answered the fellow -. Why is it? - Great! - Shouted the Chairman - I'm taking a flight to Mexico this weekend. She's on charge until my return. - Understood, Sir! - Oh, and no one can know, just you and Dr. Kerr, right? - What are you planning now, boss? - These last words were swallowed by the snow. Luca already hanged up. 2
(Designer)Zarawatto Posted September 3, 2022 Author Posted September 3, 2022 Third: Seeds Several things have changed since the first visit of ARC Headmistress Coyolxauhqui forward the Cenote Natural Area. At the beginning, it was obviously a basic need the obtain of a team and facility for the right care of the animals sent by ARC from qualified veterinarians. In a couple of months, meanwhile a small team was building the clinic, a second squad lead by vet Félix Manchado developed the new home for Yum Kaax. Félix is now responsible of the jaguar's welfare! Spoiler The headquarters' sentries are no cops hired by Cauich. His guards are a better team: The peace of the air running through the branches of the trees merges with barks and frolics, as Canek sweeps the doo left by the hairless members of a pack, those who aproach to customers and sniff them from head to feet. Spoiler Spoiler At dawn in a friday, before the park opens, an odd noise intrigues Canek. He's waiting for someone on that day, but it seems that the visit is coming several hours earlier. At the time that the wheels of a huge truck creak against the pebbles on the other side of the park's wall, the sole of Canek's boots bear all of his weight in every wide stride with which he hurries to the meeting with the vehicle at the entrance. Spoiler - What's going on? - wonders Félix, who is arriving at the same time, after looking at Canek's appalled grin. - The vistors! - mumbles Canek. - Wasn't it at...? - Nope! Shush! - halts Cauich. From a truck with ARC emblem, a lady with a hat and sunglasses goes down. She's driving alone. The woman walks to the park gate, where the two men stand still. - Good morning fellows! - shouts the vistor. - Excellent day, miss Virginia Robles! - answers Canek - We were craving because of your visit! - Thank you so much! You must be Sir Canek Cauich, the park manager, isn't it? - inquires Virginia. - That's right! - says he - Let me introduce you to doctor Félix Manchado, entrusted of the jaguar area. - Nice to meet you, doc - Félix replies with a hand shake and a head shake -. Headmistress Aduna-Pacheco is more than only satisfied about your work with Yum Kaax's care. They three start walking inside the park. Virginia formulates short questions and Canek makes broad answers, while Félix just laughs silently after their funny sentences. Meters after, they stop right in front of the Pyramid Restaurant, still closed. - Isn't ornithologist Lorena Rojo coming with us today? - requests Virginia - Today, my main activity is to assess her performance with the birds that Headmistress Coyolxauhqui previously sent for their rehab. - She's reaching us later - replenishes Canek -. Until then, you may take a look at the aviairy designed by her, where the macaws and toucans rescued from ilegal trading now fly safe. A structure composed by glass and steel bars stands tall behind the restaurant. Two golden bird statues extend their wings, ready to take flight alongside the bright, colorful birds that dwell in there. Spoiler Spoiler Virginia takes a walk inside the cage, she watches, judges, assents and, eventually, concludes: - Not bad. Not bad at all. However, I have some points around that may do it even better. I'll converse alongside Lorena when both of us have the time. Until then, I'm going back to the city for a lunch. - How? - asks Canek - Aren't you staying with us? - Of course I am! - exclaims Virginia - Actually, I'll stay for some days, maybe for a whole month. I got work for you. - Excuse me? - ARC rescued animals hit by a car last week. Some fool guy ran over them. Pitifully, some of them didn't survive, but our team healed two opossums and a bassarisk. They are stable and we want you to start taking care of them at your park. Now, if you and doctor Félix help me bringing them from the truck... Each one picked a cage and toke them to the park. Once they were placed, Virginia got into the truck again. Inserted the key and the motor starter roaring. - I'll put this in your wise hands, Sir Canek - said she from behind the steering wheel -.Once the animals get their own exhibit, I'll work on them. I'm also considering the possibility of moving to Yucatán and devote fully on them, just like Coyolxauhqui does. I'll meet Lorena later. Have a nice day! - Wait... What? The vehicle went backwards and then disappeared in the road between the foliage. - What am I suposed to do now with these? Spoiler 1
(Designer)Zarawatto Posted September 20, 2022 Author Posted September 20, 2022 Fourth: Growth Soggy and dry people walks by the junglish enviroment of the Eeke-Ku-Yooko Cenote, without being aware of what is being cooked in front of their nose. A lady, as fresh as themselves, sternly assesses from behind some dark glasses. A second woman arises from under the water right in front of her. She jolts her wet hair and then walks towards the sunglasses. There, she sits next to her on a towel and then starts the questioning: - And well, Headmistress - says meanwhile cleans the dirt on her feet - What do you think about Canek's work during our absence? - Come on, Sandra! - answers Coyolxauhqui, sitting in her place - There is no need to be such polite with me! We're taking sun together, just feel free to trust me. - It's gonna feel weird, but it's ok - said Sandra - Are you thinking on staying for a long time here? - I still don't tell Sir Canek - doubted on her words - but yes, that's the plan. I want this Conservation Area to turn in a whole place for relocation of animals sent to ARC. We were lacking space and here it is more than just enough! -Honestly, I'm still surprised on how they managed to grow all that cocoa in order to establish a chocolate store for guests! Spoiler - I find it pretty neat - said Headmistress. She was standing and coiling her towel around her waist -, but I came in first place to take a look on Virginia's work about her unit for animal rehab after street issues. - Her results are astounding! - shouted Sandra - She didn't only got a whole opossums family, but also grew the armadillos we sent less than two months ago! Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler - Where are we going now? - asked Sandra, when she noticed Coyolxauhqui were standing there, projecting her shadow on her body. - We're going to check on annexed aviary - pointed the Headmistress -. Miss Lorena wasn't able to install the military macaw properly with toucans, so she requested more resources in order to build a better place for them. At the end of a road that drowned into a grove, both of them recived the welcome of a planter full to the top by hummingbirds, joyful for the nectar found there. Headmistress and her companion went in the aviary entrance, flanked by rocks where the birds standed, greeting with a noisy chatter to all guests. At the backgound, a tunnel entrance guided them to a glass dome. Therein, they gladly saw the birds in flight above their heads. Spoiler Spoiler - Not bad - strongly pointed Coyolxauhqui -. Not bad at all. I'm sure that you can trust Canek for the desertic unit you've been talking about so much. - How long do you think they'll take until noticing we're here without telling them? - inquired Sandra. - Y'know - sighed Coyolxauhqui - I just hope that, if they weren't back at the Cenote just glancing for the girl with the tightest swimsuit, I expect them to be taking good care of the animals now instead of just scratching their bellies at the Clinic Building. 1
