(Admin)Cricket Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Firehawke, these are great pics! Love the exhibit sizes and the colors you used. That path fits in well
Kreek Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Wow, this must equal many hours of happy zoo building time. I love the show tank area the best. One question, Are those purple rocks near the lion mane gellies exhibit? Or is it just a trick of the light?
Firehawke Posted November 9, 2011 Author Posted November 9, 2011 Thanks Cricket and Kreek! I did have a lot of fun working on it. Though, I did have to pause it quite a bit once I got near the end---too many messages popping up! As for the purple rocks, they are from Genki's Fantasy Foliage pack, which I love! :wubgreen: I haven't started on a new zoo yet, but I've been giving it some thought. I might have a wintery looking zoo.
Firehawke Posted November 10, 2011 Author Posted November 10, 2011 Thanks, Pukkie! I might get a chance to start my new zoo this weekend.
Firehawke Posted February 17, 2012 Author Posted February 17, 2012 It's been a while, but here are some new pics! The zoo has just barely been started.
pukkie Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 I love that wonderfully made butterfly there Firehawke Brilliant design! :adore:
(Trustee)ZooGrammy Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Oh me, I was just going to ask you what was the entrance for and Pukkie's post answered my question. I didn't see the butterfly. You need to have some artificial butterflies flying in there. I have a dl that does it. I think it is a monarch.
Firehawke Posted February 17, 2012 Author Posted February 17, 2012 Thanks, pukkie!!! It turned out better than I thought it would! Thanks, ZG! Where can I find the dl???
Fern Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 JohnT did a Giant Monach which is at his site. If you are not a member let me know ZA has two monarch butterfly and Malayan Butterfly And for scenery, don't forget the Butterfly Conservatory and Statue by Dr Rick, the butterfly observation areas and paths by genki, Soopermum's Morphing Butterfly Fountain, two maybe even three butterfly houses
