A small family of Scimitar Horned Oryx, which are classified as extinct in the wild, approached the oasis as well! Reintroduction programs across the Sahara have proven successful! These cute critters are my last sighting here in the hot Ahaggar. I'm off to see the environment where Sahara meets Sahel, which is home to a large variety of animals!
