Kreek Posted November 26, 2010 Author Posted November 26, 2010 Oh thanks so much for the compliments. I know I still have a lot to learn, but that's what makes this game so enjoyable! Also happy to hear that you like this quick bit of writing. I know it's not a full fledged novel standard story, but it suits the pics, I think. Okay, here's the final screens. I see that we've all arrived. Isn't this garden great? It is a small copy of one Lady Everett build at her summer retreat in Japan. She took home some marvelous creatures from the orient. Follow me up on this mountain slope where not only do we keep our Alpacas. But also one of Lady Everett's greatest legacies, the unicorn. Yes, I know. I could look at them all day too. Now, exiting the bridge, we're entering a small square. If you ask me, I'd say this is my favorite place. I really love the waterfall, but this has a tranquility that completely relaxes me. And it's quiet. Not many visitors come to this corner of Antler Garden. A perfect place to keep our panda bears and our most shyest of whitetail deer. All that water from the falls has to go somewhere. The restaurant and Bastu are ideally placed to overlook the overflowed plains where the swamp deer has its home. Let's follow the river and we come up to a place I call little Italy where you can enjoy a few comforts, take a water bike, and stretch your legs afterwards, sitting at the bank with water lapping at your feet. It's now time to head back to the entrance. In order to get there. We have to traverse the swamp where a small settlement lays hidden between the reeds. Next we enter our kid's area. While you get something to eat, your children can visit the petting zoo, or get a ride on the carousel. Last but not least, I promised you a visit to our hatchery. The forest skirting our center garden houses the Roosevelt Elk. Here end's our tour. Let me finish with some statistics. A survey told us that animals are 98 percent happy, the guests satisfaction is 93 percent, and overall rating is 90 percent. I hope you found the tour enjoyable and will fill out this form for me, recommending me for the tour guide job. Maybe on your next visit, you will meet with me again as tour guide 1065! ------ Thank you all for checking out these screens. I have a few ideas left, and of course I'm going to check out club life! And pukkie et all, I swear I didn't know I would join up, let alone be excepted into the Moose when calling this zoo 'Antler' Garden! :254:
pukkie Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 :cheer-girls-group-3x2-green: absolutely wonderful :cheer-girls-group-3x2-green: If you lost me I am in the kids zone and never to get out of there again Unless you say the word LION! of course TIGER will also get me moving.
Firehawke Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I love the rest of the zoo, Kreek! And the story telling is great! I think that the guest should get that tour guide job! Congrats on the great stats! Can't wait to see your next zoo and be able to work on a club zoo with you!
fountain Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Splendid use of subtle, interesting colors in the paths and trees and theme areas! I've downloaded several of the screens to study and be inspired. At times I think I am looking at a painting!
Kreek Posted December 1, 2010 Author Posted December 1, 2010 :254: For the feedback! Pukkie, oh that's okay, you go take care of the kids then! Firehawke, I've browsed through some of your the club's projects. Working together looks like a lot of fun! Fountain, Wow, I'm humbled by your comments. I'm not much of a painter, so you could say that my mouth dropped. Thank you so much! Here's some screens of a small Zoo I finished for a close friend of mine to cheer her up, because of her cat just passing away. She asked for a mythology zoo. And seeing as I've never done one before, I felt excited. I also wanted to use mostly grasses, and some of the new downloads. Here's the entrance We're passing the unicorn and black cat exhibit. The black cat I did in honor of my friend's pet friend. I have a thing with caves, don't know why. (For instance, in all my writing my characters always seem to end up in underground tunnels!) So, I build sort of a secluded cave like space, a sort of watery, mossy cavern idea for the dragons and gryphons. A great space for the tea house and I figured dolphins would also play in the inside lake. I also loved playing around with rocks and chrystals. Leaving the cavern, there's the phoenix building and the fire horse/pyro zebra exhibit. Fitted well with all the red grasses. Going around the fire exhibit, is the pegasus exhibit, ready to leave the island if necessary. I also made a small garden with the greenhouse. Some final overviews Stats: Zoo rating: 84 (not very high. I blame the dragons. Took me a while to get their exhibit working.) Guest Happiness: 93 Animal Happiness: 98 That's it. :wreath:
pukkie Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 That is just simply amazing Kreek You are one skilled zoobuilder girl I love the screens you share and it is so good to see one who is having so much fun playing with the game as you do
Firehawke Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 I think this zoo looks great! It's always nice when you're able to make a zoo for a friend in need! I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one out there who loves using the grasses! :glitter_happy: As always, the landscaping is beautiful! Keep up the great work!
Kreek Posted December 3, 2010 Author Posted December 3, 2010 Thank you all so much. Yes, grasses are a great way to create a more open effect. Too bad the ZT game doesn't do weather. It would be wonderful to create a windy grassy plane...
