For the visitors, new rocky observation area, naturally integrated in the scenery :

Hi everyone !

Second exhibit for the deciduous forest area :)

Exhibit 025 - Black Bears

Male : Baribal

Female : Bamse, Bouba

The two pages describing the animal :

GUIDE057_zpsefb199d1.jpg

GUIDE058_zps2678c0f3.jpg

Focus on the exhibit : the cave shelter is closed to a small mountain range, for a more natural effect.

They also have a waterpoint, others rocky formations and lot of trees to recreate the northern american forest.

Visitors can observe the animals from the rocky gallery observation point.

Love the placement of the cave shelter and the rocky observation area looks great. The exhibit is so lush and natural, another nice job. As always the guide is beautiful.

Thank you ^^ I try to recreate a kind of primary forest, as natural and various as possible, but not too luxurious .. or I'll won'te be able to see my animals and my visitors

hello hello ^^ I've juste finished the leaflet for the deciduous forest (part. 1) and I can't wait to show you the result  but before, let me show you the third exhibit for this area :

Exhibit n°26 - Moose (Orignal/Élan)

Male : Truk, Mush (if you remember Disney's Brother Bear ^^)

Female : Alces

Enclos026-Elans_zpsd21408c7.jpg

Here are the pages for the Explorator's Guide :

GUIDE059_zps3227df8c.jpg

GUIDE060_zps91f86103.jpg

Focus on the exhibit : a forest of birches and willows, small rocks and a pond and, of course, a wooden shelter :

Mooses are closed to the bears exhibit, which are carnivores so I could not do a unique exhibit without separation, as I did with the previous ones.. I chose to place a kind of mountain range to create a natural separation :

Hope you will like it !! I'm about to start to build the following exhibits in the next days so .. To be continued ;-)

Very nice exhibits. Almost like you would see in the wild.

The rock wall formation is the perfect separation between the bear & moose. The exhibits have lots of foliage, but well designed so you can always see the animals, excellent work, as always.
