(Designer)Vondell
This is gorgeous! I haven't played ZT2 in a very long time, long before the mod community started producing such nice zoo building infrastructure! And you've made expert use of it. Love the design of the building! Kreek
I have to agree, this is wonderful. Nice collection of reptiles too! I have played zt2, but all the twirling and graphics made me nausious after a few minutes.

Firehawke
Another big post...it's from another contest at Feral. This month's theme requires us to tell a story using ZT2. May I present "The Further Adventures of Pickle the Penguin," also known as "Pickle the Penguin and the Mysterious Forest" I’m bored. It’s just the same thing day after day…swim, eat fish, sleep. You’re lucky, Zookeeper lady…you can leave whenever you want.Hey…I’m the staff penguin here. I should check and see how the rest of the zoo is doing, give the keepers a bit of a break. The sloths seem to be covered!Umm…lots of pretty fish, but too many teeth! What’s this area? I haven’t seen it before! “Staff Only”??? Well, that won’t stop me…I’m staff penguin after all!Okay, Pickle…take a deep breath. You’re about to step into a brand new world! Here we go!Don’t mind me, fellow keeper. I’m just here checking out the area. What a pretty view!Another black and white animal?!? But, you’re not a penguin!
Firehawke
What a beautiful area you have, non-penguin!Mind if I take a swim? Thanks! What’s over here? It looks mysterious!Time to investigate!WHAT ARE YOU?!?!?!?That is some of the best camouflage I have ever seen! You blend in so well with the plants and the ground!Want to see my camouflage? It doesn’t work so well here, but when I’m at home, it works well!Speaking of home, it’s been a long day. Time for all staff penguins to go home. Bye pretty animals in the big forest world!I won’t get lost…I just have to look for these pretty flowers! It’s fun to explore and help out the zookeepers, but it’s always good to be home! Kreek
Oh wow. LOVE your story! My fave part was meeting the white goat! Im all for a sequell!
Firehawke
Glad you like it, Kreek! I was hoping to have a different unicorn, but the one that I had my eyes on turns out to be no longer available due to copyright This one ended up being really fun, though! I was wanting the unicorns to stay by the water and I was hoping for more fog in the pics, but they wanted to stay by the Khirins and the fog machine timing was not my timing :whistilin: Don't be surprised if there's a sequel! Firehawke
I decided that I wanted to experiment with guest viewing areas and creating large mixed exhibits. The end result is what I call "Moose Forest"As we enter the visitor center of Moose Forest, we see a welcoming set of rocks and treesThe visitors center features an educator podium and plenty of seating. Firehawke
It also features a set of doors...which lead to a walkwaywhich offers a bit of a view blocked by glass...
Firehawke
And then you are greeted by an open air elevated viewing area!
