Thanks! :poppysmileyf:That "protection" thing to get to the site was strange but I got in.

(Devonna's bunnies are plotting on how to get into this zoo but this time as visitors. I think someone told them about the Gorilla Guest Hack but I don't think they will succeed.)

Yes it is a pain in the rear. It even locked me out one time and took days before it let me back in. It bit rough when you are paying for the site.

About The "Nature vs Zoo Tycoon Megahack", why does the zip archive contain a ZTD file for Przewalski's Wild Horse ? Hack's description doesn't mention this animal.

Posted

The Przewalski's Wild Horse was changed to also like the Coniferous Forest and Highland habitats. It was also changed to like foliage from those habitats more than the Grassland habitat and Broadleaf Bush foliage, which are what is shown in the purchase menu as its preferred habitat and foliage. So although it does not hurt anything, that is confusing and, therefore, the checker shows 2 warnings for it:

*** Warning: cHabitat does not have max [cSuitableObjects] habitat value.
*** Warning: cPrefIconID 7074 is not in [cSuitableObjects] with value > 0.

The suitability guides show the changes.

Suitability guide for the original animal:

Foliage:
Broadleaf Bush, Monkey Puzzle Tree (DD)

Rocks:
Large Rock, Small Rock, Medium Rock

Foliage (for exhibit with 45 grid squares):
1 grid square should contain foliage.
Foliage that would give the most happiness: Broadleaf Bush
Since this is a small plant, greatest happiness will occur
if the grid square contains 4 of this plant.

Rocks (for exhibit with 45 grid squares):
4 Small Rock, which is its most liked rock

Suitability guide for the hack:

Foliage:
Lodgepole Pine Tree, Fir Tree, Pine Tree, Bamboo, Yew Tree, Spruce Tree
Yellow Cedar Tree, Western Larch Tree, Paper Birch Tree
Western Red Cedar Tree, Chinese Fir Tree, Himalayan Birch Tree
Western Juniper Tree, Himalayan Pine Tree, Sage Bush, Broadleaf Bush
Pine Bush, Club Moss Shrub (DD), Walchian Conifer Tree (DD)
Dawn Redwood Tree (DD), Lepidodendron Tree (DD), Monkey Puzzle Tree (DD)
Norfolk Island Pine Tree (DD)

Rocks:
Large Rock, Small Rock, Medium Rock, Large Highland Rock
Coniferous Forest Rock Formation, Medium Highland Rock (DD)
Medium Coniferous Rock (DD), Highland Rock (CC)

Foliage (for exhibit with 45 grid squares):
1 grid square should contain foliage.
Foliage that would give the most happiness: Chinese Fir Tree
Since this is a small plant, greatest happiness will occur
if the grid square contains 4 of this plant.

Rocks (for exhibit with 45 grid squares):
1 Medium Coniferous Rock (DD), which is its most liked rock

Thank you so much for this, Fern & Jay.

Do you think, at some point when you're not so busy (Ha!), that the revised suitability guides for the animals could be added to the Zature vs Zoo Tycoon Hack description at the Download Directory?

I have passed it on to Jay. I let him do the info on hacks.

Okay so two that come to mind, both that refer to the Giant Panda.

One of which is a hack which changes the Giant Panda's brownish color palette to a rather neatly edited black color palette akin to what the actual animal would've had.

The second was another hack which enabled Giant Panda Research for access outside of scenario's, and I believe there was another hack that made it so that any and all Research tabs only accessible via Scenario would've been available in all modes too?

Both of these I know I had found back on Zoo Admin over 10 years ago, but I can no longer find them as far as I'm aware.

ZA is now back up and running.  If you still have your account there, you can look at their hacks.  If not, let me know and I'll send them in a PM to you.

I think if you have ZTCC (Complete Collection), the Giant Panda Research is done in normal game play too.  I didn't see another hack (yet) that allows this.

You can see the rest of ZA's hacks here.

If anyone else has info on these, please share!
