Fern Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Ahhhh, thank goodness. I thought you might have adjusted the ingame files themselves. okay send me the ztds you created.
Saobie Posted July 2, 2018 Author Posted July 2, 2018 Nah, im too lazy to do that, especially when a tool to do the hard stuff for me exists. While i have coding knowledge, its extremely basic and i find a lot of it tedious xD Used to do basic Terraria mods This is the modification file i made DELETED
Fern Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 My winrar refuses to open it. Can you set it to zip and try again. Oh and delete the one you posted too.
Fern Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Okay I got it. however there are 11 uca files but only 10 matching folders. If this is the file you have ingame you have 2 uca files for the yeti 43C490FB and B101B026. The matching folder goes with 43C490FB. I don't know enough about animals to know if that is the problem but you could try deleting the other uca and see if that solves the problem. Meanwhile I will pass the file on to Jay and see what he says in the morning. Now I have the file you can delete it from your post.
Saobie Posted July 2, 2018 Author Posted July 2, 2018 Honestly i dont have a clue what you said :P i dont know how to modify the uca or anything
Fern Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Okay I can work with that. I also discovered the spare part is from the ingame file. Tomorrow I will give you the info you need or a fixed file. While the APE you used is the latest and does iron out some problems it does not solve them all so you should learn to open and read and if need be fix a file. So some reading for you. http://www.lunamanar.com/zklounge/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=116 It is one of the best guides around.
(Designer)Z.Z. Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Oh. You are putting your creations in the dupdate folder? The only folder you should use for your additions is the dlupdate folder. If you use the dupdate folder there is a chance of accidentally removing an in game file when changing UCIs, and that could cause game issues too. There are many planter flowerbeds to choose from, although I dont know what their esthetic values are set at. http://zootekphoenix.com/forums/files/file/1244-brick-themed-flowerbeds-by-genkicoll-sundance/ http://zootekphoenix.com/forums/files/file/1229-brick-themed-quarter-tile-plants-by-genkicoll/ http://zootekphoenix.com/forums/files/file/1137-concrete-aquatic-flower-planters-by-gem-genkicoll/ http://zootekphoenix.com/forums/files/file/1151-concrete-aquatic-planters-by-gem-and-genkicoll/ http://zootekphoenix.com/forums/files/file/1168-dawns-colorful-flowerbed-by-lupin-fan/ http://zootekphoenix.com/forums/files/file/1857-dawns-flowerbed-2-by-lupin-fan/ I made a set of recolors of Sundances Lobelia flowerbed which all have max esthetic bonus, but it does not have a planter edge on it, however, you could add one with the low green hedge curb or the sand curb.
(Designer)Z.Z. Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Low Sand Decorative Wall and the Decorative Hedge Wall both make excellent flowerbed borders for non planter flowerbeds, but for your decor I think the Low Sand Decorative Wall would be best.
(Designer)Z.Z. Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Ok, just reread the last few pages again. Apparently the file you gave to Fern has one of the in game files in it, which means there is a very good possibility that your game has been corrupted and that may be why its crashing. You may want to uninstall it and reinstall it to get clean game files, and then only use the dlupdate folder for your additions. If you do reinstall the game, be sure to take the Saved Games folder out of the ZooTycoon folder and move it to your desktop so you dont lose the zoos you have created, and take the zoo.ini file out and save that on your desktop too, that contains the scenario information so you dont have to do them all over again when you reinstall the game. Looking at your latest screen, you still have way too much path, and your main traffic line directs guests straight into the bathrooms instead of to exhibits. Guests dont like bathrooms, just like the compost building, bathrooms stink, so its best to just use restaurants, or place the bathrooms at the end of a path past your exhibit area, but restaurants are best, they satisfy food, drink, rest, and restroom needs. At the top of the screen you have an insect house and a gift shop with a space of grass in between. Fill all such spaces with animal houses all the way around and up their displays to the top tier. You have a lot of benches down the center, but very few around the rest of the zoo. I would take out the entire center, put an exhibit there instead, and place at least 2 benches on each corner of all exhibits. When you click on your guests, do you see them thinking about your animals at all?
