nana_nytowl Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I like that roof much better too. But I did like the shorter tent. :post-6-1170309992:
Fern Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I like the idea of having solid walls, like on the corners maybe? How about I put a regular door on the entrance? I really didn't want any dead space around the outside. That is why I suggested a half tile just inside the fenceline. Cos I did not like the idea of deadspace. I want to put a question to jay as I have an idea.......

pukkie Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Hm to many things happen when I am of for a day This is looking really really good Toodlepops Great job!
Guest vickiesunflower Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 that is exactly what i had in mind, i like that version a lot. the wood like roof and sides looks so fab. and yes i would like it to be a paying attraction, mostly for the kids in our zoos i guess.and i do agree with the idea of not putting foliage around it so that we can place our own foliage around it in our zoos if we wanted to. this is really coming together guys and its looking so good. there are some really talented people on this site....I LOVE YOU GUYS, YOU ROCK!!! and i would like us to keep the recess booth thingy for paying, and also it doesnt matter if we only see half the horsey animations (like with the elephant ride) it still would look awesome. how bout the sounds? what do you guys reckon? can we make it look more attractiony(sp) maybe a sign on top, or like i said, a horse statue, or a sign with lights, or something?
(Designer)toodlepops Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I'll think about a sign. Genki is my go to girl for signs. LOL I'm more concerned about the animations. Since I couldn't sleep last night, I thought I could use the pavillion style tent, put some picnic tables inside with static peeps sitting at a few and call it the Teddy Bear's Picnic Resturant. Need ideas for food items, tool tips & guest thoughts as I'm terrible at those things. Please... :justcuz_shamrock:
Guest vickiesunflower Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 love the teddy bears picnic idea. i would love to help with some ides. how about you use some of the traditional english foods for the picnic. for example...'i love how they cut these sandwiches into perfect little triangles'. 'these muffins are great with trditional english raspberry jam' 'salmon and cucumber finger sandwiches are my favourite' 'i love the way they drink their tea in china cups and saucers' 'these scones are great with some cream and jam' just some ideas, when i think of a teddy bears picnic the one thing that comes in mind is always tea, sweet cakes, sandwiches, and pretty frilly dresses and curls in the little girls hair, and boys wearing old fashioned clothes. i dont know why. but you can do anything. if you dont want to use the english food ideas, then tell me what you were thinking of and i'll help you with the guest thoughts and meal ideas. i'm a big cook at home and cook different things from pretty much everywhere, so just let me know. but i love your ideas.
Arborius Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Keep this base building. I think you could use it for other projects
