Thank you all for your kind words. :)

Here's my next zoo. I like the Excavation map for no real reason, and have built plenty of zoos with it (mostly dino zoos :P) but I realized the other day I've never made a marine zoo with this map, so I decided what the hey. Guest happiness was really low for some reason: even with two shows, it always hovered around the low 60s. I try not to care, as they are just bits of AI programmed in specific ways, but it's hard not to take it personally, you know? I built this zoo for you guys, dang it! I BUILT THIS ZOO FOR YOOOOOOU!!!! :(

(clears throat) ...anyways, moving on... Here's the entrance. Not much too it: just a big ramp descending into a bunch of trees.

Dolphins with their show; the first vain attempt to make my guests happier. Hoops were jumped, fins were waved, and no one cared. "Wow, that was a great show!" huh? Well, you could at least PRETEND to believe that!!! :(

Walruses, along with an aquarium. The walruses have such vivacious personalities, and the aquarium holds such colorful fish. But do the guests give a dang? Nope. Old news, they say. I even heard rumors that one of them wanted to go to an amusement park afterwards. WHY?! Why don't they LOVE me?!

post-102146-0-05760100-1410992821_thumb.jpg

Tiger sharks, along with a shark tunnel to add to the sharkness of it all. This is pure art, and all I get are groans and sighs. No one understands me.

Turtles, with a crab house and a little lake. Originally there was a swim shack there, but no one cared enough to swim. Why do I even bother? :(

Attempt number 2 to pep up my guests, this time with an orca show. The orcas gave it their all, but the guests just didn't get awed like they should.

post-102146-0-17013100-1410993066_thumb.jpg

And finally, the whole work of art that no one cared enough to appreciate. I do my best to make a beautiful and fun zoo, and all I ask in return is a bit of happiness, happiness in seeing my work. And my cries, nay, my pleas, continue to go unanswered.

post-102146-0-04039800-1410993193_thumb.jpg

To conclude my emo rant about the guest happiness being consistently low, I've prepared a little song:

*cue sad piano music*

I give you my all, don't you see?

I build and landscape just for you

My animals are happy

My scenery is snappy

And yet all you give me is poo

It doesn't matter what I build

It doesn't matter what I make

I have happy creatures

And landscaping features

And yet all I get is heartbreak

I built this zoo for you

Yet no matter how I strive

Your happiness level

Never breaks sixty-five

I would much love a cheer

Instead I get a boo

And despite everything

No matter what I do

Despite everything

As my labors grew

Despite everything

Everything I doooo...

Your apathy hurts...

Because I built...

this zoo...

for you...

And with that, I'm out, until my next zoo! PEACE! :P

Xtrene, you are a songwriting genius! I love your unrequited love song, TOO funny. Rest assured, you are not alone with your broken heart; guests never love me either.

Your zoo looks great, I have never thought of putting a marine zoo in the "hole", but it works perfectly; the zoo wall supports all those tall tanks. The lush greenery around the tanks is beautiful; I just can't understand why the guests aren't just gushing with love and happiness. Stinking, rotten, guests.

Great job!

It is a great zoo! Throw those guests to the sharks. That will teach them to be so ungrateful...........ugh.

Those guests are nuts!!! It's a beautiful zoo!!!

Apparently I have Mud on the brain (for those of you not in the know, that's a character from some of Xtreme's stories...check out his site!!!)...I keep thinking about what Mud would think and how he would react to those guests :bth_fallcatleaf:

Keep up the great work!

Thanks for getting those uploaded Caddienoah! :D I hope you all enjoy them. And thanks again everyone for all your comments.

Next zoo time! This is just another one of my dino zoos, but this time it's on a snowy map, so I decided to give it a more alpine feel. Here's the entrance, with Ankylosaurs and a long line of guests for some reason. I'm assuming they're on their way to see Snowasaurus Rex Attack in 3D at the Dino Cinema there: it's making the big bucks at the box office. :P

A trio of Tyrannosaurs live in this jungle-y exhibit, staring at the guests with hungry eyes. I've always wondered how the guests are safe from rexes when the exhibit terrain is lowered only 2 slots. They stand far taller than that, so they could just pluck a guest off the observation decks if they wanted. If this was a real zoo and not a programmed simulation of one, those guests would be lunch. Actually, never mind: if this was a real zoo they'd be totally fine, as no real zoo has T. rexes to my recollection. :P

More Ankylosaurs, along with some Velociraptors, in the desert where they should be.

post-102146-0-05119600-1411861871_thumb.jpg

A small herd of Plateosaurs reside in this exhibit. Sometimes I name my animals, but to still keep them sorted in the Animals list, the first two letters of their name match their species (for instance the Tyrannosaurs would be named Tyler, Tyra and Tyrian) but with Plateosaurus that's flat-out impossible. There aren't many names that start with "Pl" to my knowledge. Plato and Pluto are the only ones I can think of, and maybe Plucky if its a cartoon animal, lol. Thus, the animals are unnamed in this zoo. :P

post-102146-0-20386300-1411861879_thumb.jpg

Of course, another reason the animals are unnamed is because of these guys! There's only ONE name I can think of that starts with "Ig," and that's Igor. I can't name ALL my Iguanodons Igor, so again, they're all just numbers.

The Kentrosaurs and Styracosaurs live here. I've always noticed that Kentrosaurs take a long time to grow up, much more than a lot of the other dinosaurs in the game. I wonder why that is. Heck, even the Apatosaurus doesn't take as long!

post-102146-0-55918700-1411862374_thumb.jpg

Caudipterix and hatchling Deinosuchus (I didn't want to wait for them to grow up to take the screenshot, lol) live here in this corner of the zoo.

post-102146-0-96225900-1411862442_thumb.jpg

And finally, the whole zoo, or at least as much as I could fit into the screen, lol. I'll send it to Caddienoah as soon as I can. Enjoy!
