Firehawke Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 That's killer! :gnomesmileyf: At least you only lost a couple, instead of the whole zoo (that's happened to me before!). Good luck recreating the exhibits!
fountain Posted September 26, 2012 Author Posted September 26, 2012 Why not save it with a number at the end each time you save so at least you can return to an earlier version I sort do that which why I only lost 2 exhibits. The fence between polar bear & Pyrenean (sp) Ibex was aging, the polar bear took every opportunity to get through every broken fence. I was in the process of trying to build a moat between the exhibits when it crashed. Do dino fences last longer than the high concrete fences?
Fern Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Do dino fences last longer than the high concrete fences? You can find all the fence info in this thread at DD Exhibit fence behaviours I think I gathered all that from the help file and the ingame dll files. So long ago I can't really remember.
fountain Posted September 27, 2012 Author Posted September 27, 2012 :leaf: It is fair season here in real life and in the ZT city. Lawn and patio furniture is being stored, many crops are already harvested and the gardens being prepped for overwintering by grass mats paths deteriorating & restoring soil tilth with help from fallen leaves over composted zoo-produced manure to age , and flower and decor changes at stores, offices, the zoo. First is the new makhor & Stone's sheep exhibits: City food gardens and patios: Motel, produce, Office: Zoo decor is starting to change: More later...
(Trustee)ZooGrammy Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 you will have to do Trick or Treat in the city. I really like how you did the elevation in the Makhor's exhibit and also the scenery in the Stone's sheep exhibit.
fountain Posted September 28, 2012 Author Posted September 28, 2012 Had a difficult time with that makhor exhibit. I ended up leveling and clearing and going to Wisco's "catalog" of info I printed out years ago and worked from there, doubling the numbers and adding a bit however, the info does not include how much elevation. My internet connection was tenuous so it was trial and error since I could not access ZTCDD. The "block" w Stone's sheep also includes Culver's gezelle & serrow. Here is a small carnival since I could not fit in a street fair... next to the Mako & Hammerhead shark exhibits... An overview in relationship to the city buildings. The zoo changed the canopies for seasonal color and repairs to the terrain themed canopies... Still working on autumn flowers... Not sure how to implement your "Trick-or-treat" idea, ZG...
(Trustee)ZooGrammy Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Don't know either Fountain. How about rain and snow falling? :24:
Firehawke Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 There's some great halloween downloads available, ranging from cute to spooky! There's a lot here, plus some at ZTUF and ZA. I'm sure there's more other places, too! You could have spooky trees, haunted houses, cemetaries...all sorts of things. There's some great Halloween related foliage, too. Rain and snow works, too! There was one year where the city cancelled Halloween because of too much snow! Can't wait to see more pics!
Fern Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 My internet connection was tenuous so it was trial and error since I could not access ZTCDD. How come you could not access DD?
fountain Posted September 29, 2012 Author Posted September 29, 2012 Don't know either Fountain. How about rain and snow falling? :24: You had me laughing out loud even before I noticed the smiley!
