I looks as though you are working on two resurant styles, so ...

If we took the counrties that the active tek members are from we could choosed a dish

that represents that country. For instance, I am from the US so perhaps THe slider burgers from the Skillet Cook station of Chefville.

@WaterDragoon: Not very understand.. do you mean, for example, you want to make a menu for West one, and you're from the US, you choose the slider burgers for one of the menu of the West one?? That's good~ but seems like so far not so much people say their ideas. :(

alright, so here is one idea.

ZT does not come with that many. Those are all created by designers. Many of the above were made by Jane, brandi, fern, genki to name a few. That is one reason we ran out of available ids the first time. We could use slider burgers in a USA type building if he has one. What are they anyway? Most active Tek people are from the US. I think it is only Jane, fern, RDingFT, Prof Paul and Norn that are from other places. Can you imagine Blue Fang providing Moose Drool Beer?

 

 

RDingFT: I did those lists in 2009 and Jane did a lot of buildings after that and so have I so there are more. I just need time to update the lists. And if the others don't want to choose then we will just decide for them.

Umm..you're right, so maybe we still need to think, just what food that we like and may match the restaurant is fine. :)

 

Well I think these are enough to decide :), if we want, we can add some new from CV. :) (some are nice I think)

Perhaps most people think it's fine we use any food so they don't say. :XD

When I first started to design restaurants, I found it was easier to use the in-game food items. However, like Fern has noted, there are a lot of nice food items that have been made by other designers that we have permission to use. You could always make several restaurants, each with a theme of a different part of the country. Or, you could do one restaurant with a mix of food from several different countries. It just all depends on what you want each restaurant's menu to look like. I always like to see different combinations in the restaurants. I like to think that the guests enjoy the variety lol.

Those are amazing lists! I knew we had a lot of food IDs, but those lists are impressive.

 

Just my little input; it seems that the look of the building should indicate the type of food sold inside. You could just pick a few things that already exist and add a few more, as you listed RdingFT.

 

I love the idea of a US style burger joint selling sliders. Fern, sliders are mini type burgers. Some are quite small and others seem to be almost as big as a regular burger, well to me anyway. Sliders seems to mean smaller size, so they can be made from anything, chicken, fish, etc.

 

I know this is not exactly the place to post this, but I would love to see some vegetarian/vegan restaurants and food stands. I have several images of unusual looking buildings that I hope to get made at some point. Fern, is there a limited availability of IDs now for new items? I've lost touch with all that.

There has been a limited amount of ids ever since we ran out the first time, so the more reuse the better. Like I said there is no reason we cannot have restaurant chains, attraction chains, etc. The real world does, so why not ZT.

 

I was planning on doing a soup stand.....RCT has that cauldron stand which I might alter a bit for that. I think genki did at least one vegetarian meal. Like i said that list is way out of date. It also includes ZKL, DG, ZA and ZTUF ids.
