(Trustee)Jordan Posted June 21, 2007 Author Posted June 21, 2007 Fern and others, until the Downloads Directory is back up feel free to mention like you have been if something has already been done, it saves me work! Not attempting redundant requests saves time for new ones! Oh, and the next person who apologizes when they offer a request doesn't get it filled. (ie: Sorry to bother you with this....) I'm asking for requests, don't be sorry! Here is the remaining queue of requests: (Looks like I have tortoises to make today) Lechwe antelope (on the back burner) Aldebara Giant Tortoise Leopard Tortoise Serrated Hinge-backed Tortoise Pancake Tortoise Mangrove Terrapin Orang pendek (Need to work out the orangutan in APE)
KTesch Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Yeah, ZA,The ZTCDD AND NOW the Vacation site are ALL down!! I have nothing in my Favorites having to do with ZA!! Yellowrose knows about it, now anyways, I don't think she knew about the Vacation site being down until I posted it on here yesterday. Kim
(Trustee)Jordan Posted June 21, 2007 Author Posted June 21, 2007 Finished the first terrapin of the day, the Aldabran Giant Tortoise. (I keep reading that and thinking it says Alderaan...) I checked over the rest of the list and the remaining tortoises are just wee little things and most don't have much info so I think I'll be skipping those. Sorry to Kim who requested them. Back to the list, I'll see what I can do on my troublemakers the lechwe and orang pendek, but after that my to-do list is finished. Start being selfish and demanding people! If you don't, I'll have nothing to do! (At least until my banjo shows up. It shipped today. :yahoo: ) Edit: ACK! The grid is back! I'll never be able to shake that thing, will I? Edit Again: In my respite from requests, I think I will tackle the list of critters at the Oregon Zoo and see what needs to be made to make some exhibit replicas. (Or even the whole zoo perhaps...)
KTesch Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Jordan, I didn't request the Tortoises, but do plan on downloading them. Mine were: The Lechwe, Tufted Deer, Damas Gazelle ( I found one elsewhere, but feel free to go ahead and make one anyways) and some Birds: Painted Lorikeets,Pink Cockatoos,Black Cockatoos, Sulphur-Crested Cockatoos,Wedge-tailed Eagle and Tawny Frogmouth ( these I might wait until Chirin gets back from her cruise to see if she wants to make them instead), I'd hate for you to get saddled with all my stuff too) and Proboscis Monkey(done according to you). 4EverEden Requested the Tortoises. Kim
(Trustee)Jordan Posted June 22, 2007 Author Posted June 22, 2007 I would be happy to work on those, Jane. They are next up on my list. The lechwe has been a difficulty for me. After some reverse engineering from the white tailed deer I figured out what I needed to do to have the male animations be the bongo and the female and young be from the blackbuck. Trial and error ensued and eventually it worked beautifully in APE. Then I got it into the game and the female is invisible. I came to discover that the invisibility fix refuses to work on Windows Vista. I took the fix and the ztd file to my other computer running XP, fixed it and returned the file to my game computer and the darned thing was still invisible. I tried that 4 or so more times and still no luck. Oh bother. Edit: Jane, those would just be stat changes, right? If so, I could have those done in a speedy fashion.
(Trustee)Jordan Posted June 22, 2007 Author Posted June 22, 2007 Stats are the things such as how much of what terrain an animal likes, the icon for what part of the world it is from, and that kind of stuff. These are little changes that are easy to do. Speaking of which, all four are finished. B) Pics will follow shortly.
pukkie Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Thank you for this explanation Jordan I really appreciate it. :254:
(Trustee)Jordan Posted June 22, 2007 Author Posted June 22, 2007 As promised, here are the screenshots of the Nordic Brown Bear, Moose, Lynx and Gray Wolf. If our favorite Swede approves they should be up for download for the anniversary tomorrow.
pukkie Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Jordan, That is just great :cheerlie: Those exhibits will be so much better to look at this way :032:
