quetzal Posted November 26 Author Posted November 26 How can I fix this shadow problem? (In this case of the elephant, also there seems to be a problem with the opposite tusk being seen. Is it a similar kind to the shadow issue?)

(In this case of the elephant, also there seems to be a problem with the opposite tusk being seen. Is it a similar kind to the shadow issue?) right click the model of the animal, go to MATERIAL (one of the menus on the right), and turn off the TRANSPARENCY. I also think that your elephant reflects too much light (is too bright) - you may lower the brightness by turning on SHADELESS in the same menu as transparency. Tip: (maybe I mentioned this to you before, but I am too lazy to check) when making an animal animations, render some animation into separate folder (I generally use walk animation, it renders quickly), and load the frames into the animation of other animals in APE. By that, you can compare them, and increase/decrease the size of animal, and get the size you want. I generally use animals related to or compatible with the animal I am making for this comparison.

Now the elephant looks a lot cooler. Thank you for your always quick and kind advice! 1 2
