That includes natural colours like browns and weathered looks. I see you like using Jay's cobblestone fences too. Would you like them in other colours? Yup! Cobblestone cliffs are my new adquisition 😸😸 I don't like the default dino fences... I find them pointlessly tall 🙀🙀 That's why I'd rather "sunken" dino exhibits... Some nice cobblestone fences variation might be gray, black or mossy green 🧐🧐 1
(Designer)Zarawatto Posted March 13, 2022 Author Posted March 13, 2022 Short update: Sorry for this long abscence! I'm still working with this, but I just can't solve the issue about the path in the Jurassic Zoo scenario 🙀🙀 Any ideas?
(Designer)Zarawatto Posted March 24, 2022 Author Posted March 24, 2022 Welp, I tried several times. The first issue was the path rule... In the Jurassic Zoo scenario, the default path way is too confuse and I was not able to use it properly. First two weeks I tried and lost (because run of time and no resources), then I did this: Just replace the default way with user made but not using it at all... So, the rule is not broken... And this would be a perfect... But then I noticed a second issue as i kept losing the scenery! The goal of "Suitability 85 for 7 jurassic exhibits" got never achieved and I could not figure out why... I tought it was bugged, so I stopped trying... Then I noticed the reason: Realism hack changes Caudipteryx geological era from Jurassic to Cretaceous, so It doesn't count in the Jurassic exhibits anymore!! Wanna see how I solved this? Come and see the Empty Jurassic Dinosaur Zoo from the Jurassic Zoo campaign: User-made only restricted: Animals, paths, decorative fences & scenery. In-game stuff allowed: Exhibit fences, buildings, rocks, foliage & staff. Objectives: 1. Rating: 75. 2. Suitability: 85 for 7 jurassic exhibits. 3. Diversity: Read the *in-game animals required* section. Default buildings: None In-game animals required: Allosaurus, Apatosaurus, Caudipteryx, Camptosaurus, Kentrosaurus, Plesiosaurus & Stegosaurus, one each at least. Main view of the map! Spoiler All of the gardens are rinsed with the fountains and the Devona's & Mark Bell's Log Flume Ride! Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler This scenario is a good approach to the No Grass Please hack with all the vanilla dinos having their exhibits redesigned... Camptosaurus now likes a small piece of rainforest! Spoiler Some other who now like rainforest are the thorn-backed Stegosaurus and Kentrosaurus! Spoiler Spoiler Another nice change is the fact of new dinos being able to eat guests! Big All likes angry and hungry guests Spoiler Apatosaurus is one more added to the rainforest team! Come and see Little Barney at his dwelling! Spoiler Otherwise, Plesiosaurus has their default preferences not changed at all... It still loves to swim and have a meal at it smol island Spoiler And now! The stone of dissension! Caudipteryx has a snowy forest habitat BUT also has its Jurassic era modified to Cretaceous... How to solve this trouble? Spoiler In order to achieve the last goal of Jurassic exhibits, I had to build an extra exhibit for a new Jurassic pal! The chosen one resulted to be Borsato's Archaeopteryx. When I noted this issue, my last saved file was almost out of time, so this exhibit got built fast... But it worked! Jurassic Zoo Campaign complete! Spoiler Sorry for this long abscence! I'm still here for you all, reading your doing! 1 2
Firehawke Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 Such a beautiful zoo! Can't wait to see your next one! 1
(Designer)Zarawatto Posted April 7, 2022 Author Posted April 7, 2022 Hi again! This is the first aquarium among the intermediate scenarios! I must confess that, years ago, this campaign showed me that mermaids were actually in game, as I built a tank without noticing the statue on that corner 🤯🤯 So, it is always nice for me to visit this campaign... So, lemme introduce you today in the: Empty Oceans of the World Aquarium from the Oceans of the World campaign: User-made only restricted: Animals, paths, decorative fences & scenery. In-game stuff allowed: Exhibit fences, buildings, rocks, foliage & staff. Objectives: 1. Rating: 75. 2. Animal happiness: 85. 3. Suitability: 80 4. Diversity: 6 species; at least 2 animals from Arctic Ocean and 2 from Tropical oceans AND 1 animal from Pacific Ocean and 1 from Atlantic Ocean Default buildings: None. Default scenery: Mermaid statue (1) In-game animals required: None. Main view of te map! Spoiler Don't you like salty water from the beach? Then, come and take a bath at our fresh water pond! Don't forget to take a peek at the souvenir store and refresh yourself at the Hungry Dutchman 🍴🍴 Spoiler Take a look at the Wesley's Narwhal Statues! They'll show you the way to the Khaydar's Greenland Sharks tank! Brrr pretty cold water! 🥶🥶 Spoiler Spoiler If you'd rather warmer seas, a bit at the south from the arctic, lies the Pacific Ocean! Come and take a rest at the DjPluffs' Garden Benches and visit the ocean ambassadors: Khaydar's Blacktip Reef Sharks! 🦈🦈 Spoiler Spoiler There's also the whole opposite shark! Khaydar's White Tip Shark. This is the first time that I built using Casey's Glass Walls and I absolutely love them! 💦💦 Spoiler Spoiler I can't chose just one of the fishes from Hawkkeye's Eastern Atlantic pack, so I toke many of them. Take a walk below their tank, and live the atlantean experience within your own skin! AfricanRaptor's Atlantean Viewing Area gives the touch 🔱🔱 Spoiler Spoiler Now! Do you know what's the largest extant fish? 🤔🤔 Right answer! The whale shark! But the in-game animals are not allowed! So, you may see the second largest fish in the world! Khaydar's Basking Shark! Another nice piece for these tanks are the AfricanRaptor's Sea Floor Tiles! 🌊🌊 Spoiler Spoiler Not enough sharks? Alright! There's another tunnel, so you may see an walk alongside them! Otherwise, if you had enough sharks at this point, there's also Khaydar's False Killer Whale's dwellings... Then, there's also a new Wesley's Sea Turtle Staute near the old reliable mermaid throne 🧜🏽🧜🏽 Spoiler Spoiler Next scenario is one of the most heartbreaking, and also one of the most interesting... So, I think I'll share every single tank for the rescued animals... And after that, the whole zoo... Until then! 🌈🌈 2
(Designer)Zarawatto Posted May 2, 2022 Author Posted May 2, 2022 Hi again! I found an issue with the hacks and the work of the campaigns once again... For this campaign, an in-game animal required is the porpoise, but it's lend to the zoo as a donation and the adoption menu is not available... I have the ZT vs Nature hack, where the porp is replaced with a new file made by Taz, therefore modifying the in-game porp as the Dall's porp... So, when the last animal package is loaded, the porp wasn't there! I had to restart the game a few times, before I noticed that I was missing an animal, so I went to the ZT guide where I found the porp was that lost animal, so I had to restart again without the porp UCA and DLL... And this is the result! Empty Rehabilitation Zoo from the Save the Marine Animals campaign: User-made only restricted: Animals, paths, decorative fences & scenery. In-game stuff allowed: Exhibit fences, buildings, rocks, foliage & staff. Objectives: 1. Research: For the Manatee, Beluga, Ray & Humpback programs. 2. Suitability: 75 for manatee, 80 for beluga, 85 for manta ray, 90 for humpback calf & 80 for six exhibits left. Default buildings: Aquatic restroom (1). In-game animals required: Polar bear, grizzly bear, red kangaroo, narwhal, hammerhead shark & harbour porpoise. First aided pal! The manatee uses the rehab tank for the first time! (You may take a look as how I develop that benches place along all the gameplay!) Spoiler Spoiler After the manatee got recovered, we recieved an hurt beluga... It needs a bit more foliage in order to achieve its suitability Spoiler Spoiler Done! Next one is the big manta ray! Now, the rehab tank got rocks so Mantie likes it! Spoiler Spoiler Last one is the humpback calf! This time, the rehab tank just needed to get high... The tank is now done! Spoiler Spoiler Now that all research is done, we'll get the new animal pack! The rehab tank resulted to be the dwellings for the narwhal Spoiler Spoiler The neighborhood got built! Meet Thor, the hammerhead shark! I gotta admit that I don't know why all of this campaign was pretty money-short, so I had to built exhibits with the minimum suitability in order to achieve the whole scenario D: Spoiler Spoiler We also got land-n-sea exhibits! Come and see the polar bear snowy beach! Spoiler Spoiler And talking about bears, we also got a small forest por the grizzly pal! We also built a little plain for a red kang! Spoiler Spoiler Finally, the porp tank... Look at it greeting at that old hag! Spoiler Last view of the map and to the picnic area (Note that the souvenirs sold at the Devona's Fish Gift Stand include stuffed manatee & beluga plushies, as an acknowledgement for the rehab work!) Spoiler Spoiler The lore of this campaign almost makes me cry everytime I read what those animals went through :c Little reminder: April 22nd (Like friday two weeks ago) is Earth's Day (I pretended to post this that day, but I had to deal with the porp issue)... This year it was quite different as more than ever topics like water, chlimate change and war were most remarkable as ever! Until next empty zoo :3 Have a nice week 3
Firehawke Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 Fantastic job! Yeah...this scenario always tugs at my heartstrings! 1
(Designer)Zarawatto Posted May 16, 2022 Author Posted May 16, 2022 It's me again! Last week I got the surgery for the removal of my wisdom teeth, so I took a rest away from work during 4 days... I was like "Yasssss a nice time where I'll working with my new empty (and delayed) zoos!"... Welp, spoiler: I got stuck with this one... I restarted it like 5 times until I achieved all the goals. After several attempts, I got it, so here it is: Empty Free Admission Zoo from the Free Admission campaign: User-made only restricted: Animals, paths, decorative fences & scenery. In-game stuff allowed: Exhibit fences, buildings, rocks, foliage & staff. Objectives: 1. Income: $50,000 2. Diversity: 7 species, 3 zoo animals and 4 aquatic animals. 3. This is such a big map for the requirments of the scenario 🙀🙀 Spoiler Come to the Support Plaza! Wanna a pizza slice from Jane's Wild Life Pizza? 🍕🍕 Otherwise, If you wanna have fun at the Devona's Ball Pit I just hope you aren't allergic to pollen, cause it's all surrounden with Brandi's Summer Sunflower Planters! 🌻🌻 Spoiler Spoiler Across the Land side of the zoo, you'll find Borsato's African Spurred Tortoise and Hawkkeye's Striped Skunk & NEW Gaboon Viper!! 🐢🐢🦨🦨🐍🐍 Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Now come and take a peek at our sea side! All our tanks were built using Casey's Glass Walls & Jeff's Camouflaged Filters! First tank belongs to Borsato's Wobbegong! On the second and third ones you may see a family of Khaydar's Rosette River Ray & Indo Pacific Sailfish respectively... For the last one, a community of Hawkkeye's Angelshark, Guitarfish, Nursehound & Spiny Butterfly Ray swim together! Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler This is what I made during my "swollen days" 🦷🦷 Hope you like it! Until next empty zoo!! 3
