zoobunny Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Since we have a sincere shortage of in-game South American rainforest animals (the anteater is the only one), please tell me which animal (in-game or user-made) you'd like to see with each of these birds: Cockatoo Hyacinth Macaw Blue-headed Parrot Red-Crowned Parrot Well.... Sulfur Cockatoo ................ Opaki or Bongo Hyacinth Macaw ................ Black Leopard Blue-headed Pionus .......... Mandril Red Front Amazon ............ Lowland Gorilla Don't tell my parrots that I paired one of their brothers with a Leopard. I just thought that the coloring of blue & black would make an attractive exhibit. (Like that's real practical.) I was also tempted to suggest the Red Front Amazon with a Komodo Dragon, trying to bring in a little variety, but my White Front Amazon was glaring at me & I felt guilty. I could always play the game in a different room!!
pukkie Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 I wouldn't want to see S American animals with African one but that will be a personal thing I guess I think the giant anteater could use some company And the Llama ofcourse
(Trustee)genkicoll Posted September 9, 2009 Author Posted September 9, 2009 Hm. Well, we'll see what I can come up with for their habitats. Add scarlet macaw and toucan to the list
zoobunny Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 I wouldn't want to see S American animals with African one but that will be a personal thing I guess I think the giant anteater could use some company And the Llama ofcourse I gave my brain the day off today. :413: Feel Free to ignore me. I wasn't talking very realistic which can make programming a bit of a nightmare. I know anything Genki puts together will be fun!!
(Trustee)genkicoll Posted September 9, 2009 Author Posted September 9, 2009 No, that's what I asked for, Zoobunny :vishenka_34: By ZT1 standards, animals from different continents can't be in the same exhibit, but I think ZT2's take is more realistic. As long as it's a comfortable, familiar habitat, the animals will be happy.
pukkie Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Personally that is one of the major reasons I don't like ZT2 that much You just pick a biome fill in the exhibit (and that comes including rocks and shrubs and trees also from different regions if I recall correctly) and stash what ever animal that can be in there. Don't think it is that much of a challenge To me the nice thing of ZooTycoon the real thing is that there is the challenge of creating suitable animal exhibits
(Trustee)genkicoll Posted October 5, 2009 Author Posted October 5, 2009 I still haven't figured out where to put the red crowned amazon, is an Amazon parrot native to northeastern Mexico, but also found in Texas and Florida (among others, I imagine ).
pukkie Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Then make it mexican compatible with the mexican wolf :032:
(Trustee)genkicoll Posted October 5, 2009 Author Posted October 5, 2009 That's what I was thinking, too ^__^
pukkie Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009  That would just be awesome! :post-1551-1124418072: :post-1551-1124418072:
