A 14-piece building set that allows for the building of greenhouse structures, including both decorative and exhibit wall fences, a variety of 1x1 and 3x3 roof tiles, and an additional fence piece intended to look like support posts. The 3x3 roofs work similar to those in Catfish's Aviary Set. Though they appear to take up 9 game tiles, they really only occupy their central tile, allowing objects to be placed freely "under" the surrounding 8 tiles. Building with these roofs can take some getting used to initially. This approach creates some graphical quirks that are unavoidable, such as tall objects appearing to clip through the roofs, or corners of the roofs appearing "behind" certain objects -- this is a tradeoff for all roofs that use this method of placement. Only fences and paths can be placed under the 1x1 roofs, as they occupy their full footprint. Still, they can be used in many different ways. Note that although the support post wall appears to have empty space between the poles, as a decorative fence, guests will not be able to walk directly through them. The roofs are configured to be able to be placed over tank water, allowing for fully "enclosed" land and tank exhibits. The roofs use the surface of the water as their "ground" when placed over tanks. This can be a little tricky to work with at first. This set can be used in conjunction with the Modern Wooden Fences set to create even more kinds of structures. This set requires the LANG--ZTCDD.dll to be placed inside the main Zoo Tycoon directory in order to properly display the custom menu information for the fences. This file is available from Zoo Tycoon Designer's Guild. The menu information may appear blank or incorrect without this file. *NOTE: The roof pieces will not work on hills.

The Red Panda is an original new endangered animal, compatible with Zoo Tycoon 1 (no expansion packs needed). You might also hear this little critter's unique cry once in a while. From Wikipedia: The red panda (Ailurus fulgens), also called the lesser panda, the red bear-cat, and the red cat-bear, is a mammal native to the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China. It has reddish-brown fur, a long, shaggy tail, and a waddling gait due to its shorter front legs; it is slightly larger than a domestic cat. It is arboreal, feeds mainly on bamboo, but also eats eggs, birds, and insects. Red Dragon by Lehner The red dragon is the most frequent member of the dragon family. Often people think that dragons are evil beasts which destroy fields and villages, though most dragons are peaceful carnivorous lizards. They eat everything, from berries and fish to amphibians, reptiles, birds, rodents, deer and also other carnivores like bears or wolves. In the winter time they sleep in caves on mountains or behind waterfalls. The file contains a beta version of the red dragon and the dragon tree (the red dragons favourite object). Pegasus by RSN Pegasus is a mythical creature of ancient Greece. The scientific name is Equus pegasus. According to folk tales, Pegasus was born from Medusa's blood when Medusa was decapitated. Peagasus eats apples, sugar cubes, and grasses, like a real horse. Pegasus can fly. The name Pegasus means "flying horse". Bellerophon tamed Pegasus with the help of Athena's golden bridle. Later, Pegasus flew to Mount Olympus and Zeus transformed Pegasus into one constellation. Pegasus is white, big, and with a pair of wings. Pegasus is fast in flight, allowing it to escape from predators. Since the animal configuration links to the sounds of ZT's Przewalski's Wild Horse, either CC is needed or the official Endangered Species Pack download is needed to hear the sounds.

Vondell's Aquarium Tank Set 1 Five unique, fully animated aquarium tank scenery pieces, featuring live fish and other animals. These were built to complement the Aquarium Paths, Aquarium Walls, and Aquarium Roof sets, but can also be used on their own anywhere in your zoo.

This hack is for players that do not like to have more than one shelter in any given exhibit, like myself. This hack provides edited .ai files for each non-user created shelter to increase their capacity and eliminate "There are not enough shelters in the exhibit." messages. I have been using variants of this hack for many years (similar to the Double Capacity Shelter Hack, however this one includes all shelters and makes their capacities even higher). I have tested this hack thoroughly: I've observed as many as 40 Zebras in a single exhibit with a single Large Wooden Shelter, with no issues appearing. I have had no known bugs from the .ai files that encompass this hack. This mod changes the User Interface, making the Build Menu, the Animal Menu, and the Scenery Menu bigger. If you would like to see more icons in your menus then this is for you. This is meant for 1600x900 or higher widescreen resolutions, but will work on any resolution. There are 2 versions in the zip file, one that is for 800x600 screens, and the bigger one for all the rest. Only install one version. This mod integrates with Jay's allow purchase babies mod, thanks to Jay for suggesting this. This mod is technically a hack, because it modifies the following game files: buldhab.lyt, buya.lyt, buyobj.lyt, and teraform.lyt. It will not work with other mods that modify the same files. If you have an older version of this mod or you are using jay's allow purchase babies mod then you should uninstall those mods first before using this one! Have you ever thought, I wish there were more walls in zoo tycoon so i could cover up those ugly dirt cliff walls? This wall set makes building a zoo a little bit more fun. :) I made wall pieces for every possible wall and cliff shape that you could think of. This is over 100 new wall sprites added to the game, but they are all accessed under a few icons to make it easy to use, organized by the grid height of the walls. The tallest walls are 8 grids high. These walls are meant to compliment the in game concrete and glass walls but they do not replace them. Most of the set is just decorative walls, but there are low, medium, and tall exhibit fences as well. Although these walls are very similiar to the concrete walls you are used to, these walls cannot deteriorate or break and the maintenance workers have washed them a little (about time they did something right?). If you are not a fan of concrete fences, don't worry! Brick and stone walls are coming soon...

Emu by Jeremy Mulldune Largest bird inhabiting Australia (5.7 feet tall, 110-120 pounds in weight). Flightless; wings are only 1/10th the length of its body. Found on the grassy plains and dry open forests of Australia. Although ZooTek-Research-Hack.ztd also allows all research to be completed automatically, unlike ZooTek-Research-Hack.ztd, HaveAllResearchCompletedByJay.ztd is not a hack and is more efficient. If your ZT has a dlupdate folder, place HaveAllResearchCompletedByJay.ztd in ZT's dlupdate folder. Otherwise put HaveAllResearchCompletedByJay.ztd in ZT's Updates folder. After you start a freeform map or load a saved game based on a freeform map, all research will be completed automatically. On slower computers, this could take a second or two. Once the zoo is saved, the saved game remembers that all research was completed, so HaveAllResearchCompletedByJay.ztd could then be removed from ZT's folders. Although HaveAllResearchCompletedByJay.ztd is not a hack, if you have your ZT set up to work with a hacks folder and want research to be completed automatically for all freeform maps, you can put HaveAllResearchCompletedByJay.ztd in that hacks folder instead of the dlupdate or Updates folder.

You can design beautiful Chinese path scenery by using these files. This is a hack that changes food piles so that they can be placed on water terrain.
