A 14-piece building set that allows for the building of greenhouse structures, including both decorative and exhibit wall fences, a variety of 1x1 and 3x3 roof tiles, and an additional fence piece intended to look like support posts. The 3x3 roofs work similar to those in Catfish's Aviary Set. Though they appear to take up 9 game tiles, they really only occupy their central tile, allowing objects to be placed freely "under" the surrounding 8 tiles. Building with these roofs can take some getting used to initially. This approach creates some graphical quirks that are unavoidable, such as tall objects appearing to clip through the roofs, or corners of the roofs appearing "behind" certain objects -- this is a tradeoff for all roofs that use this method of placement. Only fences and paths can be placed under the 1x1 roofs, as they occupy their full footprint. Still, they can be used in many different ways. Note that although the support post wall appears to have empty space between the poles, as a decorative fence, guests will not be able to walk directly through them. The roofs are configured to be able to be placed over tank water, allowing for fully "enclosed" land and tank exhibits. The roofs use the surface of the water as their "ground" when placed over tanks. This can be a little tricky to work with at first. This set can be used in conjunction with the Modern Wooden Fences set to create even more kinds of structures. This set requires the LANG--ZTCDD.dll to be placed inside the main Zoo Tycoon directory in order to properly display the custom menu information for the fences. This file is available from Zoo Tycoon Designer's Guild. The menu information may appear blank or incorrect without this file. *NOTE: The roof pieces will not work on hills.

This mod changes the User Interface, making the Build Menu, the Animal Menu, and the Scenery Menu bigger. If you would like to see more icons in your menus then this is for you. This is meant for 1600x900 or higher widescreen resolutions, but will work on any resolution. There are 2 versions in the zip file, one that is for 800x600 screens, and the bigger one for all the rest. Only install one version. This mod integrates with Jay's allow purchase babies mod, thanks to Jay for suggesting this. This mod is technically a hack, because it modifies the following game files: buldhab.lyt, buya.lyt, buyobj.lyt, and teraform.lyt. It will not work with other mods that modify the same files. Pegasus by RSN Pegasus is a mythical creature of ancient Greece. The scientific name is Equus pegasus. According to folk tales, Pegasus was born from Medusa's blood when Medusa was decapitated. Peagasus eats apples, sugar cubes, and grasses, like a real horse. Pegasus can fly. The name Pegasus means "flying horse". Bellerophon tamed Pegasus with the help of Athena's golden bridle. Later, Pegasus flew to Mount Olympus and Zeus transformed Pegasus into one constellation. Pegasus is white, big, and with a pair of wings. Pegasus is fast in flight, allowing it to escape from predators. The Red Panda is an original new endangered animal, compatible with Zoo Tycoon 1 (no expansion packs needed). You might also hear this little critter's unique cry once in a while. From Wikipedia: The red panda (Ailurus fulgens), also called the lesser panda, the red bear-cat, and the red cat-bear, is a mammal native to the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China. It has reddish-brown fur, a long, shaggy tail, and a waddling gait due to its shorter front legs; it is slightly larger than a domestic cat. It is arboreal, feeds mainly on bamboo, but also eats eggs, birds, and insects. Spot Nosed Guenon by rightEyElash This monkey is one of the most distinctly colored primates. A pure white spot on the nose, olive-green cheeks and black limbs and tail distinguish this monkey from other primates. The spot-nosed guenon's body color and gestures are part of their visual communication system. This active monkey is most often seen in the mid-canopy of forest trees. This animal is made from the Baboon baby. It is a color change and a stat change. It likes rain forest plants form Africa. It is fully compatible with the Spot Necked Otter, as it is found on exhibit at the San Diego Zoo. Nilgai by rightEyElash The short coat is yellow-brown in females, and gradually turns blue-grey in males as they mature. There is an erectile mane on the nape and back and a "hair pennant" in the middle of the underside of the neck. There are white markings in the form of cheek spots, edges of the lips, and a throat bib. Along the underside is a thin white stripe, which "balloons" at the rear. The slender legs support a stocky body, which slopes downwards towards the rear. The head is long and slender. Males have 20-25 cm / 8-10 inch long horns which are straight and tilted slightly forwards. This animal is made from the female Moose. It is a color change and a stat change. The male is a light blue/dark gray and the female is a tawny color. The location has been changed so that it is found in India. It also only likes savannah grass and the khejri tree. It is fully compatible with the Indian Rhino and blackbuck. This animal can make your zoo some money as the animal has two babies. Dr. Rick Flower Pack (originally part of ZTUF's 2006-7 Birthday Bash) Date Added : December 6, 2012 at ZTUF Since the original ZTUF release info was lost this is what Rick posted in my testing area: Here are the flowers which are going to be released as part of the Birthday Bash celebration. Basically you get what you see in the screenshot! A whole lot of little pots and flower stands, an Agapanthus and some lilies, a boat full of flowers, some round flowerbeds and various gardens, some with fountains and some without. The gardens include grassy garden, rainbow garden with fountain, fern garden with fountain, rabbit garden with grazing rabbits and solar powered fountain and copper globe garden. The plant stands look plausible in water so they are water placeable. The original images were all photographs taken on my summer holidays and subjected to a variety of tortures in my graphics software to give a wide variety of zt objects. However, without the patience and wonderful attentions of Fern, they wouldn't be half as good as they are, since she has breathed on my rather erratic rotations and ucs files and imposed some sense on the chaos. Giant Fleshy Blob by bootsbrisket This Giant Fleshy Blob is from Bootsbrisket, compatible with all ZT1 versions. The Giant Fleshy Blob is the unfortunate result of genetic experiments aimed at creating a perfectly safe, toothless, clawless, shedless pet. Attempts to manipulate the genetic code of the Gray Wolf failed miserably, and as a consequence the bioengineering lab responsible is attempting to unload a warehouse full of these repugnant, strangely aggressive creatures to interested zoos for a very modest price. The Giant Fleshy Blob will chase and kill almost any other animal it encounters. Fortunately these animals are sterile and cannot produce offspring, although they are very hardy and live to be quite old. They enjoy some of the same habitat elements common to their genetic forbearer, such as coniferous forest terrain and spruce trees, but for some unknown reason prefer cherry trees and dirt. The original Giant Fleshy Blob was submitted to Zookeeper's Lounge and Zoo Admin in 2004. This version was updated October 14, 2025 by Jay to have it like its favorite habitat of Coniferous Forest as much as any other habitat, to allow tranquilizer darts to work to box it in some situations where it wasn't, to add the preferred foliage tooltip for the female, to have the female move around the exhibit as much as the male, to fix spacing and a couple grammar typos in the animal info, to remove unnecessary files and configuration lines, and to have its sounds also play when picked up, put down, or attacking prey. Although ZooTek-Research-Hack.ztd also allows all research to be completed automatically, unlike ZooTek-Research-Hack.ztd, HaveAllResearchCompletedByJay.ztd is not a hack and is more efficient. If your ZT has a dlupdate folder, place HaveAllResearchCompletedByJay.ztd in ZT's dlupdate folder. Otherwise put HaveAllResearchCompletedByJay.ztd in ZT's Updates folder. After you start a freeform map or load a saved game based on a freeform map, all research will be completed automatically. On slower computers, this could take a second or two. Once the zoo is saved, the saved game remembers that all research was completed, so HaveAllResearchCompletedByJay.ztd could then be removed from ZT's folders.
