I've used the "guide for idiots," and I've yet to figure it out. LOL. I've tried this process but I can't find the option to save as a ZTD. Instead, it is auto-saving as a winzip file. Also, it doesn't let me have an option to create "new" so I can merge the files together. Please help me. I've spent hours doing this and I'm getting upset. Thank you so much!

The tour continues through the ZG Garden Estate. The gardens are particularly beautiful this year because of the rain and special care of the gardeners. The first area below is the aquatic gardens. The next is the hospitality plaza and the first of many floral areas. The third picture is a more complete picture of the hospitality plaza.

Fern grows sweet yummy, gummy worms in her garden?! I agree with Jan on positive and neutral reaction icons (or whatever their called). I am not great with smilelys and thumbs: i often press wrong button while trying post the one I want -- even before dealing with my migraines confusing my thoughts.

Hope the worms were tasty fern And if it helps any I love you lots but this system is beyond me though The only sad thing I know is I was about to hit the 50.000 posts milestone which I wanting to use to bump that thread in follies but after the upgrade the number of posts dropped down massively Ah well I better find another milestone soon.

I am so glad someone else knows this as I mentioned it to someone on the phone and they had never heard it. Short, fat juicy ones provided they taste fruity. And still no star. So shall I move to a little box on the hill made of ticky tacky and see if that works for me. It must have a garden of course.

I don't know a song about eating gummy worms... hmm, perhaps I should write one.....

My bet is Fern will show preference to the gummy type.

Interesting. I can seem them now but I have been rejected and will go away and sulk since I can see them in everyones posts but mine. Nobody loves me so i will go down the garden and eat worms.

In WinRar, when you select your files to combine, then click the Add button, you get a window that should look close to this: Change the Archive format to ZIP. Change the Compression method to Best. Then click OK. This will create a file with an extension of .ZIP. Then, like Fern mentioned, right-click on this file. Select Rename. Change the .ZIP to .ztd Then copy to your game folder and test it out :D

When I went to save as ZTD, it would not give me the option to save as a ZTD with Winzip, if that makes sense. Basically, I was stuck in Zip even when saving as ZTD. It would always make it ZTD.Zip and not give me the option to take away ZIP, which is part of the reason I gave up with it and I'm not trying to use Winrar lol. Like deleting ZIP wasn't an option, it was stuck like that.

Just right click "rename" and delete the ".zip" Auto-cpmpressing is always good. I compress files as i make them. It will not hurt the file. If you are going to use winrar make sure you save the file in zip or ztd format. Rar files will not work ingame. You can rename zip to ztd but you cannot rename rar to ztd.

What I usually do is let WinRar default from the Extract to window. This creates a sub-folder inside the folder where your files are. Then you will navigate to that newly-created sub-folder to continue with the next step. So, from this window, I just hit enter to accept the default values:

Any of the animals listed at the Download Directory have additional info listed with them which shows minimum exihibit size and everything needed. Also for the ingame animals the same was done and that is found here: http://www.ztcdd.org/DD/index.php?board=148.0

I've never seen these extras before. Could one of you brilliant young designers please make/remake the backdrop end? One of the odd things that everyone has seen over the years is the way some of the animals glide around, especially on water. I also always used the Super Hack by Jordan, and it's crazy to see a zookeeper swim out into the middle of the water and then try to place food.

I saw those too! I was half tempted to make them work again. There's also water scum in there, too, an old dino digsite looking thing, and a few others. I'm assuming the water scum is what originally would have appeared in the tank rather than the whole thing going green. The digsite looks like another playground-esque thing since it has buckets and spades. There's some different graphics for hay and meat, a decorative stump that looks possibly like enrichment or just another bit of foliage, and some other oddities which are really neat to see. I know the drain has leftover data from the beta, at least in descriptive text form. Something like 'drains are placed at the bottom of the tank and make gurgling sounds.' Perhaps that may have taken the place of filters, or was just another thing for tank efficiency?

this might count as a weird thing -- are these MM beta items? decorative versions are showing up in Ape XP for me and it's my first time seeing them. how long have we known about these? the trash bin is pretty good-looking. I was always surprised there didn't end up being any themed trash bins in MM.

Yes, that one is slightly annoying. I always check the tooltip to make sure I'm choosing the right one.

I made it happen - accidentally - by putting a swing to close in the wrong direction next to a tank. I actually probably played the game a lot less than most people on here. It''s not a matter of how much you play sometimes, but how much you look at the files (probably done it more than most players). I've seen very few glitches - except for bad path finding - when only using *original* content. As for the beta (and user created animals which are incomplete), you can have any animal turn into a lion attacking the guests instead of the actual animal. Seems to be a fallback. Another oddity: notice how all animals have shadows beneath them. This suddenly disappears and even the shape of the elephant changes when it uses it's swinging toy. (likely one of the very first animations). As for unused stuff, I'd suggest discussing it in the old "beta" topics (binoculars, temperature...) Maybe we should stick to oddities here. Such as: why is the small burrow looking very similar in size to medium burrow?

I've found guests drowning when I've had no water-related buildings, just a large decorated water area - sometimes it's completely fenced off! I have no idea how they got in there. For swim/dolphin/boat shacks, I make sure there are breaks in the fence, or I make them an island to escape to. If you make an island, make sure to check it periodically to save the castaways. I believe they can drown in tanks, but I've never had that happen.

Yes, I've seen the guests drown and they certainly deserve it sometimes, LOL.
