Your hungry guests can grab a bite to eat at the Hungry Hacienda Mexican Restaurant by Jackal (Savannahjan, Cricket and Anne-Lis). They can dine on a delicious fajita meal that satisfies both hunger and thirst. This building requires the latest version of the LANG--fern-Tek.dll language file.2 points -

Have you ever wanted to build your own Adobe village for your ZT1 guests? Here are the pieces that should allow you to do that! Years ago, Genki had done the original graphics (except for the ledge doors) for this pack. With permission, I finished up the rest of the pieces for this pack. There are 5 different door sets to choose from: Blue, Purple, Tan, Taupe and Ledge Each set comes in either rounded or squared top and includes a family restroom, gift shop and restaurant. You will also find matching pre-made roofs in 8 different sizes, 3-level-tall wall, 3-level-tall wall with window and a matching path. Enjoy and Happy Building! Included in this .zip archive is a ZTD file that contains the Switchgrass by Vondell @ Zoo Tek Phoenix. To use this foliage, place that ZTD file in your Program Files/Microsoft Games/Zoo Tycoon/dlupdates folder. This ZTD file contains information for two complimentary versions of the Switchgrass. Switchgrass (Habitat) is habitat foliage and will count toward an animal's exhibit suitability rating, Switchgrass (Decorative) will not. Some user-made animals will "like" the Decorative version too, but it will not count toward the exhibit suitability rating, so it can be freely placed in those exhibits. Hope you enjoy! :) - Vondell1 point -
Well let's see if I can get this to work. I can't remember the max file size and I now use an oversized monitor (which the games does NOT like-LOL). I've resized the pics to 781 x 625 and lower the file size by a factor of 10. Here Goes!! Summer 2012 Zoo First exhibit is for the Black Leopards, raised up 2 squares with limited viewing by the guests because the cats tend to get a little cranky sometimes. Across from the exhibit is the Rain Forest Cafe surrounded by a moat plus a small exhibit for the Anteaters. There is also a pic with the foliage off so you can see the decor in the back corner. The map is one I made about 7 years ago or so.1 point

A long time ago, in a forum, far far away, i attempted to create a zoo which could contain all the original animals from Zoo Tycoon: Dinosaur Digs, but, even though i was using the biggest map available, i unfortunately ran out of space. After a long time and some random stuff, i've decided to try it again. So yeah, here's my second attempt on making this zoo. I downloaded Poharex's "No Grass please" mod, which will surely help quite a lot in this endeavor. The main entrance As usual, we start the tour with some of the earliest dinosaurs known. These are our adult Coelophysis We also have a healthy herd of Moschops as well. They may look like reptiles, but are actually closer to mammals, and lived before dinos showed up. Made by good ol' Poharex! These are our Herrerasaurus, enjoying their forested exhibit. A couple of Plateosaurus. They're the youngest animals in the park, along with... ...Our two little Plesiosaurus. Turns out, some more conventional fences can apparently contain them, but these are babies, time will tell if the fences can still keep them when they grow up. A Jurassic World-esque main street with lots of decorations (the vintage dino statues are from Poharex's "No Grass Please" Overview time! Anyways, i will keep working on this zoom time will tell if this time i'm able to put all of the DD animals or if i'll run out of space once more.1 point

Interesting. Ive never had a recovery team, I dont even know where to find it ;D I love the invisible fence because nothing can break out of it. I put the invisible fence footprint on the inside of the exhibit, and if I want a visible fence for looks, its footprint goes on the outside of the exhibit, making a kind of fence sandwich :)1 point

I've also noticed that animals in sunken exhibits don't complain about feeling crowded.1 point

I always sink dino exhibits 2-3 levels (usually 3), then top them with the low iron bar fence. This gives me an exhibit that is easy to see into (for me) and dinos can't break out of a sunken exhibit. I've actually stopped including a dino recovery team as I haven't had a break-out since using this method. Like this: or1 point

This is the entrance to the zoo I started today. The fresh water in the middle of the square path is going to be a small animal exhibit, probably Caudipteryx. Guests will be able to see the animals the moment they enter the zoo, and their happiness rating will go up as soon as possible. The Reely Beeg Shew goes in front of that with restaurants on both ends of the stands to care for the guests needs when the show is over. to either side of the entrance will be exhibits. :)1 point

With the Lion exhibit complete, it was time to put in a restaurant. I decorated it with a Savannah theme with a walk through porch. The Carousel was installed behind the Gift Shop along with the Ice Cream stand. With 2 restaurants, 2 attractions and 5 exhibits completed the zoo was opened to guests. It wasn't long before we had baby lions! :-D1 point

Thank you all so much for your kind compliments. I try to not disappoint when it comes to the pathways!! LOL A few more pics from some building I did yesterday. To finish out the rainforest side I put in a small exhibit for the Indian Peafowl. On the other side of the entrance I started a Savannah section which includes the Animal Adoption Center just before the Giraffe exhibit. Next to the Giraffes a new home for the Lions was built.1 point

I totally understand the dislike of oversized monitors! It takes a while to get used to the different look :gnomesmileyf: I love the pics! The changes in elevation are great! And I really like the use of the waterfalls :th_hapydancsmil: Can't wait to see more!1 point
