@Cricket Thank you so much! I absolutely had an blast with making this zoo! I'm brainstorming an idea too make a zoo the complete opposite of this one. Basically it would be hot and volcanic. Also featuring animals such as the volcanic unicorn and lava zebra

I wish I would have done this a while back...maybe will still do...never used that map...I think?...

Composting piles from recycling area is banked with soils trees & beehives for public fruit trees along the walkway ... Blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, cherries grown for the local stand down the street... Last pix.

This is across the street from the fruit & veg market. Parking for toy factory which expanded its facility. Another small manufacturer has built an expansion joining the rear 3-storey. Woo-hoo! The zoo has been for local economy! Now this community has bus service, too, & a mix of jobs within walking distance. Back of the library is the left corner. Next pix is office buildings & bank. Pink is florist & another shop & yellow is deli-grocery. 3rd one is reverse view. -- Oh & I no longer have this zoo because it I had problems saving or a b-a-d migraine day. Which Moose is cruising past the library? Recycling bins for the office buildings & bank. Weekend picnicking behind apt bldgs & a small (Scottish) feast laid out on a table. An alley runs behind the apts. Upper right corner is just beyond the yellow gro, condo, converted old blgs for affordable housing. More condos & the pitched dark mustard roof is an small medical clinic. I'm glad the blue & green jeep is not blocking the fire hydrant. Fenced hard surfaces between apt bldgs are good for hopscotch, 4-square, keep small children. Lower left is more offices space. Turn around... And back again seeing a small play ground, a running area beyond. This is the opposite end of the alley beside the Toy Store. More to come....

I found some screenshots from this zoo that I do not recall posting last year. This is the opposite end of the entrance on the map beyond the animal feed storage. Playground & picnic area behind warehouses converted town houses & hotel to condo conversion. Single family homes with quilts airing outside & tended gardens. The back-most street is one way Recycling & composting for the nearby orchard & greenhouses. A weighing platform & sorted metal scrap in background.

@caddienoah Thank you so much! @ZooGrammy Wow that weather sounds brutally hot! Finally where I live it's starting too cool down. But for the most part it's been in the 90's for week's! The Queen in her castle ordered her gardeners and workmen to continue expanding the royal gardens and start laying out the enclosures for the exotic animals that will be arriving soon. She received word from the Fairies and Elves. She had invited them to move into the old enchanted castle. The message said they had arrived and have made the castle and the surrounding woods their own. They also thanked the Queen for her kindness in remembering them. The Queen was overjoyed with their arrival. To Continue...

@Fern It makes them a very unique animal too say the least. Also the coloring on them is just stunning! I've revamped the zoo a bit and now its finished fully so.. here we go! Entrance Tundra Peafowl Ice Blue Llamas Arctic Foxes Penguins Lemmings And last but not least Purple Tundra Giraffes Well that's it for tonight! @Fern Funny you mention that animal.. @ZooGrammy That's the exact reason why I made this zoo. It's been so brutally hot where I live so a little winter wonderland is something I need too escape this heat!

A little preview on my next zoo. Not gonna tell what it's all about, but I'm sure you can tell once you see the screens.

I changed the duckbill-platypus exhibit to the Chinese Pagolin: Another view that includes the Aussie Plumed Whistling Duck above Below are ground dwelling Kagu who have vary unusual bird calls Those are all the Ariznana zoo animals. Time for more experiments with layouts on other maps.
