350 is a best estimate of downloaded items, but remember that all the items in the 'updates' folder counts in this. There are 58 individual files in my updates folder, so that would leave 290 or so to place in the dlupdates folder. Some members have reported they can only have around 250 items or the game will crash. There are many, many ingame items that will show up in the purchase menu, and some downloads are combined files that have many individual items in them. You will have many more than 350 show up in the menus, possibly hundreds more. If you decide to install the game again, be sure to place any .ztd files into the dlupdates folder and .dll files into the main game folder. EDIT: Fern, I was typing while you replied....I think I'm getting a bit slow.

By "shops" I am thinking you mean the menus - foliage, rocks, paths, scenery, etc?? The count SavannahJan refers to is the number of ztds. So if you can use combined ztds, you can get more files ingame. There is also a dll limit which is why there are combined dlls available too.
