  2. I have made a last check, now it is time to present to you: Malem Zoo! WELCOME! Here you can see the parks entrance. When entering Malem zoo, you'll find yourself wandering around the block buildings. Each house, each front garden has either a restaurant, a giftshop or a toilet. Guests also can relax with their snack on one of the benches. Let's first discover the left side of the park. The first animals you will see are white horses on someone's font lawn, and some saltwater crocodiles in the river behind. Next to the horses you will see a small barn with little foliage. Here live the two oldest animals of the park: When walking alongside the river, you'll be able to have a good laugh with the sea lions! Because of their popularity, two benches are placed for visitors to have a long rest while observing the sea lions. Then the visitors arrive at the main building of Malem zoo. A sort of church. For all tranquility, whooping cranes breed around the church. Next to the church, you will be able to find the rainforest stars of the park: Okapi's and Bongo's. As you can see, they are very popular with the guests. From that point on, the guests arrive at the right side of the park. Here they will be able to find the deer building as part of the European forest breeding program. Here we house Fallow deer and Roe deer. The main European forest animal breeding program. Buffalo, Red deer and Moose. This is the center of the park. Behind the fallow- and roe deer building, some big mammals have their home. The hippo family. (next to their enclosure there are flamingo's, sacret- and scarlet ibis, but i did not photograph those for the tour.) At the total right side of the park you'll find the mountain area. Here with bighorn sheep and Ibex. Guests can enjoy their picnic here. Smaller animals can be found next to the ibex area. Skunk, anteater scarlet- and Hyacinth macaws. And off course the town park, without animals, just for relaxing. When going home, you first pass the last exhibit of Malem zoo: the black caiman exhibit. Thank you for all support. This is the largest zoo I made until now. Malem zoo houses 100+ animals and has 1000+ visitors. Before i finish Malem zoo topic, I would like to thank all the persons who make all those amazing items. THANKS!!! As usual I couldn't resist to create a small visitors map: If you have any questions or remarks, do not hesitate to ask. bye! PS: As it is almost Christmas, i have already a plan for a winterpark in mind!

  3. Hi, Zoogrammy requested a tutorial that explains how to create custom buildings. In this workshop I'll guide you to make a blockhouses like the ones you can find in my Malem Zoo First start to determine the size of your building by marking the ground. Then make a 1x1 tile mountain of 5 high. make that mountain level for the entire length of the dark area: Then level out the floor space, so the flat tile on the top disappears. Take away the sidehills. Take away the hills on the front and back until you end with walls of 3 high. Put walls, shops and path (as you like). Then lets make roof windows: flatten 1x1 tile in the roof, at the location where you want to have your windows: Then do following things: two high waterfalls, one high concrete plexiglass wall and observation area. When you have this, bring the whole tile one down: you have windows! Make a chimney, if you like Place path onto the roof to create your roofing. Finish your building with a front garden filled with scenery and folliage. Now you have made a classy, custom build house! I hope you liked the workshop, In the future I might add different kind of houses here and how to make them for those that are interested.

  4. I filled up the last empty spot of the park. It is a mountain part where bighorn sheep and ibexes live. Working on the building I also found a new way for the windows. Thank you Zoogrammy and Professor Paul for your thoughts on this window creation. Small okapi again! hehe.. nice car.. Tomorrow I'll have a look if there are still some things to change, and then it is time for me to give you a tour of the full park!!!

  5. Two new areas. High view of the macaws, skunks and anteaters. Zoom: Latest I added a Ibis/flamingo park. It is located behind the deer building. Just a small space left! maybe even the hardest to make..

  6. The waterfall idea didn't really work.. But it was a great idea to try out. In the end I went with this: I am quite happy with that. Also: A new baby okapi has arrived! The bongo's breed super fast so that starts to be normal news. With that same idea I made two new exhibits. One for Fallow- and one for Roe deer.

  7. An update on Malem zoo: The constructions have continued. Now the park houses okapi's and bongos next to the main building. At the complete other side of the park, there are some black caiman making the river unsafe. `` (I am not 100 percent sure yet about the 'roof windows' attempt)
