I had to cut the UFOv2 Project because, when I saw this in Fountain's wishlist, I immediatly sought for it an started working... This "Blitzprojekt" also made me notice what are the parts of crafting that I already know how to deal to, which ones I do not so good at all and some new things I learnt! New Animal: Peryton (Only for ZTCC) Now available in the link at my signature! I'll eventually upload it here and at ZooBerry. There are just two things I just can't bring yet: First, its wings aren't rigged... To me, that gives an extra mysterious aura, but I also would like make some wingbeat animations. Secondly, I didn't figure out how to make an extra shadow in Blender in order to make it accurate with the myth of their human shadow... If anyone kindly would guide me in how to do that, I'll be pretty grateful Pls report any bugs found! Happy Download! 🧜♂️🧜♀️4 points

that got a good giggle out of me, like when I was a kid playing this game and let my t-rexes out to eat everyone 😂3 points

Thanks for the kind words. I got most of the animations figured out, but as you can see, the idle SW view vendor is a bit too...dancy. I might need another day to get it sorted. I can't be having joy in my zoos. SE: SW: Edit: I'm going to skip the condiments for now, that way I have time for a few more projects before uni starts again. :P If anyone wants to mess with the stand and make their own versions in the future, I'll release the sprites and assets separately for people to play with if they'd like for their own projects. I'll pick a sensible open source license under creative commons for all of my downloads. :)3 points

You could release them in a douple pack Goosifer also wrote this does ZT1 have an entertainer? like a Disney mascot that walks around I don't think we have but we doo have a zooguide how about changing the outft for the zooguide into something that looks like a mascotte? It will be walking around the zoo and drag guests behind him so it would at least look genuin (if that is spelled correctly)1 point

Or you could just leave it transparent and then it will show whatever terrain or path it is put on.1 point

I don't follow. Mummy dogs? 😂 You mean like these? I actually have never heard of one but now I want to eat one lol. I'm sure I've had them in a less-fun shape. Someone on the Zoo Tycoon Discord suggested I make a hotdog entertainer suit for ZT2 😂 (does ZT1 have an entertainer? like a Disney mascot that walks around?) Yeah that's a good idea. I think the lack of detail just makes it look like it's floating there. I'll give your tips a shot! Ah yeah, the one with the blurry green background is the default shading panel in Blender, but the proper renders in this setup uses light sources we set up like in a photo studio. I'm actually using Vondell's setup he was kind enough to share, but I added two light sources that I can't get quite right. Good idea about the bun. I'll give it a shot. Ohhh I love the idea about the toppings. I tried making an animated neon sign that said "Goosifer's Hotdogs" but it didn't turn out quite nice. I think I can use the same technique to make the neon sign noodle letters for the mustard. That's nice of you take say pukkie! I plan for all of my downloads to be weird so I hope you'll find something that can fit in with your zoos haha.1 point

Actually I thought the original one was too light, this one looks spot on, the color of the hot dog is very close, the color of the bun could be a bit more brown I think. If its the shading youre asking about, it looks good as far as the vertical goes, but ZT has the light source coming from the right no matter which way the map is rotated, so you may want to lighten the right side of all four rotation images a bit. You were asking if it looked too plain, and it does a little, perhaps add a squiggly line of mustard down the hot dog, maybe a little relish and a couple chunks of diced onion here and there?1 point

You know with a little tweaking you could give it an Egyptian feel and have it selling Mummy Dogs1 point

😂😂😂 If anyone ever asks you to sum up the entire history of Zoo Tycoon modding with one mod, I need you to point to this; a pantheon of art in its own right. (I think it came out a bit dark but I want to see how it looks ingame)1 point

Can't say I've had the chance to cross it off my bucket list yet but I will this weekend. 😄 I know that they are in different pieces like Legomen but I can't see that alone being a problem if they're rendered with those respective pieces as well. That said I see what you mean--there's more to it than I know. Maybe some day someone will crack the guest mysteries and they shall be heralded as, well, person who cracked the guest mysteries. ;)1 point

Thanks ZZ; I wasn't sure but I think that's a great idea. I'll see if I can make Heather's version as well.1 point

A Halloween version and a version that matches the in-game rainforest statue would be interesting.1 point

Oh the Hot Dog Stand looks cute, and will go with several shaped buildings in the database for ZT1. And I dont think you need a fresh coat of paint on the Forgotten Spire, its perfect for Halloween zoos, and would be nice if it was neutral so it could go into exhibits as well. If people want to use it as an actual building they can add the Welcome Mats or Configured Doors. :D1 point

Yeah that's a bummer. It's better for the environment that they keep it in their pockets anyway xD1 point

That is doable. Only other problem is that the balloon would go into the guest inventory and not be seen, like putting something in a pocket. Pity as it would be nice to see guests wandering around with their balloon.1 point

OH. I see where the confusion lies. The balloons would pull the vendor up. Essentially I would animate the vendor (I'd have to model a new one) and the transaction animation would be what I described above. Here's an incredible drawing to describe what I mean:1 point
