  1. Alright since i already finish off those scenarios and have my saved progress from my computer to my laptop i was going straight to freeform mode to create a zoo whenever i wanted to but with the hacks made for it but i was thinking of not just showing off the zoos that i was gonna create including the exhibits but i was also thinking of doing some showcases of the animals that were made for the game especially the user made animals like the mod animals as well but can do animal houses as well but into 4 kinds of team made zoos which are made for the Aquatic Animal Kids, the Terrestrial Animal Kids, the Aerial Animal Kids and the Human Kids but just a note there for you guys is i only gonna do one animal a day or per day though and in the next day i will do another and another but you can give requests of which animal do you want me to show you if you wanted to in every one of those days but anyway here it goes, on to the first animal of the day. Day 1: Here is the animal that is made for the Terrestrial Animal Kids Zoo which is in the Savannah Zoo which is a family of Southern Lions(Panthera Leo Melanochaita) with some rocks they can climb and rest on including a rock cave for them.

  3. Two ZooBerry things I should mention: I broke OpenGraph a bit so images aren't showing when shared outside of ZooBerry. This was from an effort to stop hotlinking zip files as it was getting abused (from what I assume are bots, who knows), but I will fix this in a future update. Images should be free to share. I've gotten questions from a couple modders about hosting their mods recently. ZooBerry is open to all mods, not just for legacy files. Feel free to submit!

  4. Thought I'd lay out my project schedule for next year. These are all software-related but I do intend to finish the ZT1 mods that still need finished. After that I'll be focusing more on making tools. Summer-Fall 2023 Summary This past Summer-Fall was EMU and ZooBerry. ZooBerry as a platform is almost feature complete (from what I originally planned). EMU will likely never be "finished" and will be a multi-year project since it's only meant to lay the groundwork for something a lot more exciting if I can ever get to it. Winter-Spring 2024 We'll start with a ZT1/ZT2 mod loader sort of like Nexus Vortex. Spitballing some features: Install/uninstall/disable mods from the UI. Combine single ztds/z2fs into one. Separate packs into single ztds/z2fs. Sort installed mods into custom groups. Can enable/disable groups at a time. Aiming for a modern UI. APIs I'm looking at target Windows 10 and above. Integration with ZooBerry. Not sure what that looks like yet, but I have some ideas. A big feature I will try to make happen is local renaming of mods. Say you download a mod but you don't like the name the animal or object was given, so you can change it here. For ZT2 it should be no problem. For ZT1 will be way harder but if I can pull it off, hopefully it eases reliance on the lang.dll system. Summer-Fall 2024 Try to update BFB Scripts for Blender New APE for ZT1 and ZT2: Funny enough, this will be the hardest project for silly reasons. (I am awful at configuring XML/INI, might need help when I get here ) Hope at least some of this sounds interesting! See you guys in a few weeks with some tangible ZT1 mod progress to share. I'll make a separate thread for these projects later for those who might find updates on those tedious to read lol.

  7. Update in the cervidae zoo: I created an exhibit for Hawkkeye's Persian Fallow Deer! ^ They're pretty, easy to take care of, and have given me no issues whatsoever. They have a slow-ish birthing rate. At the time of writing this, I have 7. ^ Beside the PFD's and Schomburgk's Deer exhibit, I placed a Space Needle museum, created by Jane, I think. ^ (Buildings set to hidden) Adjacent to the Space Needle is the garden, showing a mix of RDingft and Lowenfrau items. I sank the aqueduct and Slavic pillar pieces into the ground to make it look like water was supplying the flowerbeds with fresh water. If you look closely at the Slavic pieces, there are two small holes in the graphic. the general illusion here is to make it appear as though the water is flowing out of them. ^ Beside the Schomburgk Deer tank viewing area, I created a small forest section and put in a few wooden lodges, one of them functioning as a restaurant. I think the log cabin design of both buildings really complements the AOE wooden fence pieces from RDingFT. ^ A Stegosaurus mini-golf course. This zoo does not have any dinosaurs in it right now, but it will eventually. I just can't not have dinosaurs in any zoo that I make, even though I'm centering this one's focus on deer. Perhaps Borsato's Carnotaurus or one of Zarawatto's pterosaurs, to add some variety. ^ My biggest labor of love for this week: a Mixed African Wildlife exhibit for Borsato's Chital, Hawkkeye's Zebu, his Indian Star Tortoise, and his Rhesus Macaque — the macaque is the reason I have, once again, placed everything in an aviary. While the Chital were the reason I built the exhibit in the first place, the number of toys and enrichment items from Lowenfrau make it apparent that the monkeys are the star of the show. They have been given rope swings, trampolines, and a rope gymnasium to keep entertained. ^ They are tiny, and easy to miss! Regardless, everyone is well-behaved, easy to please, and gets alone famously with each other. I have a total of 4 Macaques (2 adults and 1 child was initially adopted. They give birth to 1 each time) 4 Zebu (2 adults and 1 child were initially adopted. They give birth to 1 each time) 5 Chital (2 adults and 1 child were initially adopted. They give birth to 2 each time) 5 Tortoises (2 adults and 1 child were initially adopted. They give birth to 2 each time) This is still a 'fresh' exhibit and in its early stages. I cannot yet comment on the average speed + yield for each. That's it for today!
