  1. The assets I share are always in png. :P I meant I would split the props next time. The UFO animal is a sick idea, but I'd rather if someone else made it if they wanted it haha. My backlog of mods to release is feeling like a looney tunes anvil made by acme.

  2. hello everyone! It has passed a lot of time since my last post here at ZooTek. I wanted to showcase to you some of my new creations: I was pretty impressed by P.Rex Moschops.. so I wanted to try the same with other creature from Carnivores (original and not). I've created so far this animals: - Brachiosaurus (Plains, Jurassic, North America) - Dilophosaurus (Coniferous Forest, Jurassic, China) - Dimetrodon (Decidous Forest, North America) - Dimorphodon (Aquatic, Jurassic, Europe) I've uploaded them on my OneDrive here if someone want to test them... they are not perfect, but they should be usable :) https://1drv.ms/f/s!AtDjL8ZUZzndkDoYIg6CKisfeOVt Let me know what do you think of them!

  3. Day 96: Here is an animal that is made for the Triassic and Jurassic Zoo is a flock of Coelophysis with Thouarsus cycad trees and a dinosaur burrow in their enclosure.

  4. Yes update it by crossing it with some of the RCT features. That would be a nice idea. ZT graphics were better though. But things like building your own buildings would be nice.

  5. We're trying to rewrite the original game from the ground up with new features, bug fixes, and better modding support. We're hoping it injects new life into the community when we're done.   9. Ohh great ideas. You can delete the other props in Blender and re-render the sprites, but if interested I can render out the parts separately. It’s a fun idea. I just might not be super fast getting to it though πŸ˜”

  10. Did you see my edit? We need more alien critters. I might see what recolouring does. Just means adding Gimp to the laptop as I don't have it on this. I see you have it in Blender format. I don't have that or have a clue how to use it. Do you have the ufo parts without the trappings? In bmp or png format?

  11. A more spooky halloween version would be sick. This mod was meant to release for the Tek Halloween event funny enough. Literally all of my pending mods to be released are Halloween themed for the same reason lmao.

  12. You could make a Halloween version. Or a fantasy version. Or seasonal versions. Resize the ship and make it an animal flying around its exhibit. Male, Female and young could all be different colours.

  14. Okay so since the ZooBerry forum is closing we took this opportunity to bite the bullet and make an OpenZT discord server in its place. Everyone is welcome to join: https://discord.gg/jgrNWbEucP It will be the primary place where you can find updates on: - the OpenZT project, a reimplementation of Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection - ZooBerry.org, the mod-hosting platform for Zoo Tycoon 1/2 - PANDA Loader, a mod loader and manager for ZT1/ZT2 - EMU API, Lua scripting support for ZT1 We also have a small space for project sharing that will hopefully grow with the project given time. The other projects are known quantities, but at least for another year or two it will be the only place we'll actively be discussing OpenZT.

  15. Announcing the closure of the ZooBerry forum. ZooBerry itself, the main website with the downloads, is safe for many years to come. I might replace the forum link to one of the existing Zoo Tycoon discords or make a separate ZooBerry discord. I haven't decided yet. The forum component doesn't seem to have a lot of utility for the project at the moment. Maybe in the future when it makes sense!

  16. Thank you everyone! Yes! The plaques were honestly what spurred a lot of this on, usually in the downtime on scenarios or sometimes in freeform I will idly click through the animal facts just because I think they're pretty, but seeing dinosaurs in wildly different environments threw me off. Seeing as I wanted to change terrain preferences anyway I thought I'd give it a shot, they've been surprisingly fun to make. The scrub biome I wish got used more, I know we don't have a specific terrain type for them but scrub biomes can be quite varied irl anyway, plenty of opportunities with the terrain tiles we have.

I've been working on a rather large project the last few months, what originally started as small personal changes to VNDragon's realism hack snowballed into an entire overhaul of Dinosaur Digs. Terrain changes, restoring unused animations and sounds, icon and plaque changes, additional foliage (hopefully) and more to come. The basis of this hack was VNDragon's (and by extension NGP and every other hack incorporated into it) and I have also included a few other hacks that were not compatible that I felt fit, but there's plenty of content I've stuck in there that's new. My track record of releasing mods isn't the greatest, but I feel comfortable showing these screens now, if anything because I could release the mod as is, though there's a few goodies and details I want to try and include in the initial release, if I can.
