I do the same thing! It's too hard to keep track of how many males vs females you have if you try to do the population checks separately for the tank & the land.

This is how I make an exhibit with the filter on the outside. It also illustrates how I trap the zookeepers for this type of exhibit:

(Admin)Savannahjan Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 You're doing a lot of great work here, Borsato. Bravo! 2
Borsato Posted May 5, 2018 Author Posted May 5, 2018 hello everyone, I'm happy to annunce that the first two packs are ready! The packs contains some of my already released creations, with some added bonus described in each pack. The DinoDanger-Jurassic pack contains the following animals: Already released: Diplodocus, Archaeopteryx, Cryolophosaurus, Liopleurodon Already released but with new graphics: Brachiosaurus, Dilophosaurus Bonus: Ceratosaurus The MegaMammals pack contains the following animals: Already released: Diprotodon, Thylacoleo, Thylacosmilus, Doedicurus, Siberian Unicorn, Gigantopithecus, Irish Elk, Paraceratherium Bonus: Sivatherium, Auroch, Chalicotherium You can find them in the usual folder in my signature, under MegaMammals and DinoDangerJurassic. In addendum to this.. some standard release as usual :) Darwin's Rhea (Image) Savannah, South America The file will come with the Pampas Grass ztd. The Pampas Grass ztd is a south america plant that can be used in the Rhea's exhibit, but it is not obligatory. I've created it from the z2f file made by Aurora Designs. Eohippus (Image) Rainforest, North America, Ice Age Kelenken (Image) Grassland, South America, Ice Age Ouranosaurus (Image) Coniferous Forest, Africa, Cretaceous Parasaurolophus (Image) Coniferous Forest, North America, Cretaceous The Parasaurolophus is compatible with the in-game Lambeosaurus 1 1
(Designer)HENDRIX Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Cool, gonna have to try the packs! Para looks noisy or overly crisp, either try blurring it a bit in the compositor or better change the size of the texture filter.
Hawkkeye666 Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Cool! No bugs (up to this point, but I haven´t bred some of them yet). And great looking, as always. So, only thing I can do is to nitpick... :) Maybe it would be better to do Chalicotherium slower - it was knuckle walker, not build for speed, something like giant ground sloths. Now it is running like zebra in game. In Brachyosaurus you mention that their lived in africa - that was giraffatitan, close relative. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giraffatitan Same thing with dilophosaurus and china - they lived in north america, chinese species was close relative Sinosaurus - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinosaurus And there is no Auroch - singular Aurochs, plural aurochsen, Yeah, those are the only ´mistakes´ I could find. So terrific job, and I love your animals:) And new brachyosaurus and dilophosaurus look much better than previous versions, especially their shadows. PS: And when you are going to publish forest tarpan, which is mentioned in aurochs description...?
(Designer)Khaydar Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Love the MegaMammals pack, it's good to see prehistoric mammals getting some love. I've found a problem with the baby sivatherium, there's no model at all, also since you're going for a highland/savannah biome, I recommend giving a preference for cliffs rather than a flat exhibit.

HeatherL Posted May 6, 2018 Posted May 6, 2018 From the filter to the bottom of the stairs you can just make out the dots for the invisible fence. The white curb that borders the stairs and the top of the walkway area is actually the concrete tank wall - the zookeepers can't cross it (sometimes I use the low iron bar fence). The filter itself blocks the zookeeper and prevents you from completing the circuit with fencing (which causes a gate to form). In this particular set up, the zookeeper can only walk from the filter, up the steps, down the walkway, down the steps to the other filter. You can just make out the gates in the upper walkway area. The marine specialist is also trapped between the filters with the invisible fence. I'll try to make a tutorial with step by step pictures next week. 1
