The Sanctuary - zoo & biopark

Hi !

As I said this morning, I began my "new" zoo and as I got the "plans", it's quicker than before ^^ In fact, all the park will be less large than the previous version, because I really want to be able to show the maximum of animals !

Here is the entrance, smaller than before but I kept the same "spirit".

Here is the Atlantis Gate, nothing changed except the welcome/info center building I downloaded few days ago, where guests can rent strollers, wheelchairs, audioguides .. I thought it was a "must have" for my zoo ^^

Zoo002-1.jpg

The Sphinx Gate became the Masaï Gate. In fact, Masaï is closer to what we can imagine thinking about Africa and savannah, whereas Egypt means only a part from Africa and a desert area, so I will use this stuff after for the desert animals.

As you can see, the gate of the savannah area is ready, I only changed the pathway (there's a great pack with pathways for each climatic area, it was waiting for me on ZooTek ^^)

And I already prepared the squares for the ehibits !

I hope you will enjoy this new version ... and I really cross my fingers for not having problems this time ... ^^ I may post some new screens tomorrow but I fly away wednesday for Hungary so ... to be continued :t108002:

PS : I'm still lookin for the dr rick rainforest pack 2, if anyone has it ?

You do amazing work BZH!

The problems with your animals getting staying at the water-holes, by chance did you have only one tile of clear space for them to enter/leave the water hole? This may not have been the problem, but maybe you have a bottle-neck. If only one exhibit was effected, that would be my first thought, but more than one - not sure.

Keep up the good work!

  • 2 weeks later...

The tualangs are there.

Hi Fern !

Sorry for asking again for this file but, I saw you still upload some packs on the ZTCDD and I was wondering if you planned to upload the Dr Rick Rainforest pack 1, as you did for the tualangs combined one :-)

Would be a great add for my zoo ^^

Many thanks in advance !

Hi :)

Here are the 10 first exhibits, quite the same than before but a bit smaller and offering a different viewing experience for the guests .. they only can see the animals from lookout points, all the rest of the exhibits are closed with hedges, and the discovery path is bordered with many trees and plants to make the guest "dive" into savannah ... hope you will enjoy

Different views from my zoo, you can see how the guests can observe the animals :

ZooGrammy

I really love your observation areas. Did you have them at each exhibit before in the early pictures?

Thanx ! :-)

No, the exhibits were closed by hedges but for each, one side was closed with low wooden fences, the same kind than the observation areas that I use now. I think guests have less place than before to see the animals, maybe .. but I prefer this new version ^^
